"My stay at J&R was wonderful. J&R is a small family run resort. The facility is very clean, and the staff was very attentive to my needs. The town of Anda is only a few minutes away. The resort is just far enough from town to feel remote and relaxing, but the town is only a short tricycle ride away. I was happy with the tours I purchased from them. In particular I enjoyed snorkeling off of the trident boat they use for snorkeling tours. The restaurant is very good, and they have a large menu to pick from. Anda is a very relaxing place to visit. This small town has a very laid-back friendly vibe and is a great way experience the Philippines. I spent many hours walking the beach, every morning I saw something new and amazing. I have travel plans for Feb. 2025 and visiting J&R Resort and Anda is on my list! I will return!"

"The access to the private beach, the infinity pool and the activities were good. The food and the massage service were excellent. The problem is that it is 2.5h away from Panglao airport, not walking distance to the main road. The room needed a renovation, and the toilet. Room service is not 24/7 and there is no laundry service. The staff were really nice."

"After extensive research, we could not have made a better place to stay, chill, swim and eat - all in an authentic, tranquil and welcoming environment. Pool awesome. Right on ocean (our room had sea views). Restaurant is best in an area - to the point we never even considered eating somewhere else. If you want a peaceful stay away from the busting resorts, this is your place. I’d say high end of 3 stars - but not once felt the need to want more or change a thing. A 45 min walk from town, but that’s a plus. Cause you don’t really need to leave. Rooms are clean, modern with great A/C and decent WIFI. We loved it!"

"We stayed a few nights in the most basic cabin. It was a true wilderness survival experience. The cabins are located far from the road, practically in the jungle. The cabins are made of bamboo, and you get everything that comes with that. There's a pleasant common area. There's free water. The hostess and two dogs were lovely. Probably the worst thing here is the endless mice running through the walls and across the ceiling. This might shock some, so it's best to bring good earplugs."

"The location of the hotel is perfect but a bit isolated and not close to other restaurants so we used our meals at the hotel. The service was great but we tried the nasi goreng with peanut sauce except there was no sauce (I don't think that they know what it is exactly) which made the dish quite dry. Our room had a large terrace and looked out on the pool and the sea which was great. The television is too far away from the bed. Great pool."

"A small hotel with a narrow strip of beach. Locals flock to the area on weekends. The pool area is busy, making it noisy and bustling. The rooms smell of sewage. After the rain, the balcony was dirty. We asked to clean it, but they ignored us; we asked for a change of towels, but they forgot. Breakfast is a mini-buffet with a minimal selection. Neither the hotel nor its location left a positive impression."

"My wife and I stayed one night to rest and unwind and it is hard to express our satisfaction with our stay. The complex is clean and well maintained, quiet and secluded. Our room was clean and has everything you need to relax. Their restaurant menu has some of the most delicious foods you could hope for and cooked to perfection by their chef. Our host and the staff are friendly, attentive and committed to make your stay memorable. In addition to a private beach there is also a pool to swim or just lounge. A boat to go snorkeling, kayaks for touring the coast. You can also do tours to the chocolate hills, tarsier habitat, loboc river buffet and just too many things to do. Do not miss this slice of Bohol heaven."

"O hotel pode receber 3,5 ou 4 estrelas. O hotel em si está localizado a cem metros do mar, praia de Talisay, mas a praia é mais ou menos, é melhor ir ao longo da costa até a praia principal de Anda. Existe uma boa estrada para o hotel e para a praia, e existem duas piscinas naturais nas proximidades (sete minutos). A equipe do hotel merece as notas mais altas. Você pode tomar café da manhã, almoçar e jantar também. Existem apenas seis quartos com uma bela piscina. O que não gostei: a falta de geladeira no quarto, acho que em países quentes deveria ter. O que pode ser feito para melhorá-lo: Adicione uma cortina de chuveiro ou cortina de chuveiro. Você também deve pendurar varais ou instalações para secar roupas. Em geral há mais prós do que contras, o hotel pode ser recomendado para férias, mas é aconselhável corrigir os contras que foram mencionados acima."
