Rooms are so dirty, pillows are lumpy and old.

Keep Looking! I realize places have issues but really Wyndham, take more pride in your name. Have standards that your members can trust! I am giving this place a 1 and that is being generous to the nice guy at the front desk to work with me on getting a room a few hours early due to medical problems while traveling. From there it went down. We needed a back up room for easy access. We opened the door to find that the interior door to our room was unlocked. The place was dusty, hair on top of the refrigerator, cob webs hanging from the ceiling, large paint flakes hanging from the bathroom ceiling, chipping paint, need I say more. I prefer to sleep in my truck before staying in this flop house of a motel.

Overall impression arriving at the hotel is entry signage needs painting and some landscaping. The lodge advertises it is a non-smoking environment but once you get inside the building particularly the rooms there is definitely the smell of smoke no doubt left from the days when one could smoke in the rooms. It made for a very unpleasant sleeping environment. The room was in definite need of renovating as the carpets were stained and likely full of smoke smell as well, The lack of plugs or extension cords made it difficult to plug in the lamps and none were plugged in when we entered the room. The curtains were too long for the windows and actually covered the air conditioner so had to manufacture some way to raise the curtain to allow the AC to do its job. The staff were very nice and the buffet breakfast was okay. I do not recommend this establishment. Its needs a full makeover.

I knew this was a travelodge in a small town so I didn’t go in expecting high-end. BUT a nonnegotiable is a clean bed (and locking security doors at night time). The “clean” linen is threadbare/stained. When I requested new linens they asked if I wanted to make the bed myself. If this were a monopoly property, it would be Baltic Avenue. Manager was very unfriendly and only offered me 10% off my stay despite these inexcusable conditions .Stay away at all costs.

This place was a dump. The lobby looked nice, but the room we were given was straight out of 1970. The sheets were see-through. The towels were rags. The pillows were lumpy. The beds were a mattress on springs. The worst part were the bugs. When I took a picture of them on Google view it didn't say that they were bed bugs. When I brought 5 of them to the front desk I was told that they were "marsh" bugs because they were located near a marsh. They assured me that they have sprayed for them, but nothing seems to keep them out of the rooms. One woke me when it was crawling in my arm. We didn't see any bugs until the morning. When we started to look, they were all along the side of the bedroom where carpet is attached to the walls. I picked up 10 of them and saw at least another 10 without looking very hard. I will try to include a picture of them.

Gross. Bedding and towels were basically rags. It is noisy and very run down. The cleaners obviously do a good job with the crap that they have to work with. The worst part though are the bugs. I carried 5 to the front desk and was told they are marsh bugs, not bed bugs. (So I was told) I only collected 5 bugs but easily saw another 5 without moving anything. I got no help from the front desk. No money back.
