Rumaruma Farvet Residence @ Ambon

This hotel has very good value for the price and an interesting, modern concept. Rooms are not too big, but they offer what one needs, staff is friendly and ready to help if there is a need, the place is clean, breakfast buffet offers a nice choice and also during the day there is good choice of snacks or even a meal. WIFI was reliable and there is sufficient opportunity for on to recharge all electronic devices. Location is good to reach downtown in a short bus ride or a not too long walk. Recommend this place.

I stayed at RumaRuma Farvet Residence on May 19th-28th 2024 with 6 other people and the best part of staying here is the hospitality provided by all the staffs! Ray and Ria from the Front Office did a great job in assisting us. Ray gave us so many informations about places to visit in Ambon, where to do scuba diving in Ambon, what delicacies we have to try, and I almost lost my camera but Ray managed to find it and kept it for me. Ria made sure that we are well informed of our bookings and alerted us if there were potential errors in our reservations as I brought a group of guests. They treated us like an old friend and because of them I would gladly recommend RumaRuma Farvet Residence in Ambon to my friends. Aside of the hospitality, the room is clean and quite spacious for hotels at its rate. Usually, with the budget you spend on RumaRuma, you'll get a small room and even smaller toilets that require you to squeeze yourselves just to shower. I'd recommend you request for high floor room facing to the hilly part of Ambon. I felt like being in Cinqueterre and when the sun sets, I get the gleaming lights of houses on those hills which was too beautiful not to be stared at. Last but not least, you should try their Dori Sambal Matah and Soto Ayam. I could not stop myself from ordering them when I was starving and unable to go out due to the heavy rain in May. RumaRuma Farvet Residence made me feel at home!
