Excellent hotel well placed lovely staff and fabulous food. he gated car park was much appreciated. The nearness to the train station was a bonus. A good place to stay to visit the many chateaux in the Loire valley.

Great B&B with the very best restaurant. An award winning Chef de Cuisine is in charge of the kitchen. Great food wonderful service. Very popular among the residents of Amboise. Gate access to large parking facilitie. The entire staff is outstanding.

We have been dining here on each visit to Amboise since 2016. 2023 we stayed overnight as well. This establishment just keeps on improving. The chefs have so much imagination and not only is the food beautifully presented the flavours are exceptional

Although they advertise having air conditioning, it is only turned on part of the year. Individual room AC units were locked and not accessible to guests. When we asked about using the air conditioning, we were told to open the window and turn off the light so as not to attract the bugs! We arrived on a warm spring day, and would have appreciated the ability to cool the room off a bit as it got quite stuffy at night, even with the windows open. Open windows also meant flies inside the room. Beds were comfortable, and location is a 15 min walk to town.

This property has pretty grounds that were well maintained. Unfortunately the rooms were in need of updating. The beds were a hard foam mattress, there was mold on the bathroom walls. The doors to the room had a key lock that had to be locked from the inside making it a major safety hazard. No smoke detectors in room. Disappointing was that although there was an individual air conditioner unit and control, it was locked so it couldn’t be turned on. When I inquired with the manager, she said no, otherwise they would have to offer it to everyone, that it was turned on until summer. We were here on a warm May Day in a third floor room. She was very condescending and stated “open the window.” She seemed annoyed by us and didn’t want to help. A portable fan was finally put in our room after I asked if they had one. But again, it was not offered, and clear she didn’t really care. I might ad that the listing on ******* as well as other sites states they have air conditioning. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Just how a good Logi should be. Family run. Integrated into the community. Personal service. Well presented rooms and an outstanding restaurant which was completely full on a cold grey Saturday night. Wine list largely local carefully curated and very reasonably priced. All in all a great stay.

About 15 mins walk from the centre - which is fine. We didn't ,amage to eat in the restaurant. Comfortable pleasant room opening onto the courtyard. Buffet breakfast of great quality - but quite odd in that you do not help yourself to the buffet; you have to be accompanied by someone who asks you to decide what you want and who puts it on a small plate for you.

171 Euros for bed and breakfast. We stayed in room 4 which was cramped and had very dark wallpaper which made it feel even smaller. In the bathroom there was a cracked floor tile and a crack on the toilet seat which managed to cause a pain in the posterior. Food quality was generally good at breakfast, however the croissant was tiny. Not good value, we have stayed before a few years ago and found it better, will not return.

Excellent stay at La Breche. Welcoming staff and delicious full breakfast. The dinner outdoors in a pleasant adjacent garden was delicious. English speaking staff was greatly appreciated. Great value for the price!!
