Avoid it! Terrible experience there! I guess this accommodation will always have customers due to its location, not in the very Amalfi centre but just a few steps from the Duomo. But this is the only positive thing they have. Check-out time very (very) early and check-in time controlled by the staff, if you are exploring the Costiera Amalfitana you have to bear in mind the check-in time or you may lose your booking and your money as well. They tried to take photos of my credit card by the two sides of it, trying to get also my CVV number! Be careful! They asked me for an extra 50€ due to a strange "resort fee", never explained before and they say you must pay that amount only in cash... Apart from that, the facilities are not linked to the amount you pay for them, too far away from a good value for money. Unflinchingly, the worst part of my time in the Costiera Amalfitana, they might ruin your experience in an idyllic place.

Hotel it’s self is good but the staff asked for 50 euros cash for cleaning fee which is insane and the C trip helped me solved problem

The hotel has that great vibe of having old world architecture and charm with modern conveniences. Super clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Great views.

Hotel is centrally located. On arrival we were grated by a a very friendly young man who showed us to our room. Room were immaculate and tea and coffee in rooms. Would highly recommend this hotel any time of year. Bonus is they have a pool to relax at. Excellent. THANKS

Made to pay €56 in cash on arrival, they would not accept bank payment or provide a receipt. This charge was described as a deposit in the small print. Intimidating receptionist and very rude. He argued that €56 was for government tax. I stayed in 3 other hotels throughout my stay in Italy and was only charged €3 per night for tax. Further unexpected charges were taken from my bank, currently being investigated by the fraud team.

Very nice stay in late October. Oasis outside the busy town. Nice pool and good breakfast (definitely for Italian standards). Early morning can be noisy, sounds on the street, bring earplugs. Room is clean and nice. Not a 5 star resort, but would definitely recommend it if you want to stay in Amalfi.

The location was good but and the breakfast great, however it ends there. The manager has a side hustle going with the local taxi service. He announced the day prior to our departure that he had been advised by email that the ferry to NAPLES may be cancelled and we should consider another option. The ferry company would not respond to email or phones and the manager would not provide evidence of contact from Ferry. He scare mongered us with information about how we would be ripped off in Naples by taxies. He then charged an additional cleaning fee and taxes on our departure. The bathroom was not clean and the building next door could see into the space. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Would never return to the area.

I suppose let's go through the pros first: - Good location on the main street, easy to get around - The room is spacious and recently renovated - Daily breakfast is quite nice and the woman serving is wonderful Cons: - €50 resort fee in addition to tourism tax €3 per person per day to be paid in cash, the €50 was not mentioned anywhere before and was a complete surprise - The check-in staff is... well not really interested in providing service or being helpful - The bathroom renovation is very sloppy, you can already see that rubbery mold forming around the corners - In terms of amenities and services, the cost is way too high for what you get, which is super bare-bones - The pool is minimally available (cleaned quite late in the morning and closes before or at sunset) - No umbrellas by the pool and the pool towels are stained and old All in all, not worth the price and looks way better in photos than it does in real life. Please note: the hotel is up the hill, with multiple stairs into the hotel and to the room.

Beautiful hotel in an ideal location. We were minutes away from the centre of Amalfi. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The pool was a real highlight for us and Andrea at reception was lovely too.
