Hotel Cap Negret

Es un gran hotel situado la lado del mar con unas agradables vistas desde la habitación. El desayuno super completo había de todo y estaba muy bien. El personal del hotel profesional y agradable. Las habitaciones limpias y grandes. Lo único que mejoraría son los espectadores nocturnos.

Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet, very nice pool and beach , highly recommend this hotel. The location is great too , just a short walk from Altea town with so many restaurants by the sea as well as numerous bars and restaurants up at the old town.

Nice modern clean hotel with decent sized rooms. 12 minutes walk to the modern promenade at Altea, maybe double that to the square at the top of the hill. Tram station opposite hotel. Hotel is badly let down by the canteen buffet dining experience - you will not starve but if you’re a meat eater you may only have one option. Very busy, noisy and not somewhere you would sit and enjoy a relaxing meal or drink. The non buffet dining room looked nicer but was not open. We returned from a night out at 11pm and all they could offer us to eat was crisps - not really 4 star hotel The advertised bath robes and slippers never appeared but our room and towels was freshened up every day My wife had an upset stomach day two of the holiday and I had a bad experience finding uncooked/raw chicken in a starter dish that was only meant to include peppers and egg (see photo). We only ate dessert after day 2 and ate out Some of the entertained was really poor and so loud it was painful - most nights the was less than a dozen watching it. The staff were a bit robotic and a couple of times they forgot to bring us things we had ordered in the bar cafe area Be warned it does not matter what time you arrive they will not let you in your room until 4pm - we waited 4 hours with no facilities to change out our UK clothes after travelling since 3am Despite all of the above we would stay there again, but would spend the evenings in Altea or elsewhere

1st time at hotel . Found buffer style breakfast good choices. Plenty of vegetarian options. Had lunch at hotel couple times very reasonable. Hotel & pool bar excellent. Rooms very clean tea & coffee. Overlooked car park but not noisey. Shuttle bus into Altea had not started but myself & friend enjoyed the 20 minute walk

We had a fabulous 3 night break and absolutely loved it. The hotel was immaculately clean, the pool was fabulous and seafront views amazing. We stayed on a full board basis and we were thoroughly impressed with the food. Super healthy options, plenty gluten free etc. We enjoyed the 20 minutes walk into the centre of Altea and easy access to neighbouring resorts by the hourly bus.

Lovely and clean, staff welcoming. Food good quality and varied, but food needs to be hotter. Children need to be properly supervised by their parents as they ran around causing havoc in communal areas, staff should step in and curtail this as they can cause injury to themselves and others. Yuri and his manager were very professional in their roles regarding the Spa and Wellness. We were not advised on the free shuttle bus which we read about in the other reviews. But we will definitely come back again, overall a lovely experience.

This is our third visit to this hotel. I'll start with the good.. hotel is always clean, food is nice and staff are quick to sort any issues. Good location. It's a good place for (what should be) a nice quiet relaxing holiday directly on the beach. Its fine for families with young children but totally unsuitable for kids from 5 up to teens as there is nothing for them to do. Hence this weekend older kids clearly bored have been running around corridors shouting and screaming, slamming doors, riding the lifts and making life generally miserable for the residents. On Thursday this went on until gone midnight. More of same on Friday. Now the worst bit, the hotel occasionally host weddings and communions but this is generally held in a segregated area at end of dining room or the dedicated function room. I say occasionally as that was during our previous stays, this time it's been different. One wedding, two or three business events and then today an annual ladies dinner in the dining room. All of these, especially the latter, have made the place noisy and unbearable for us and the other guests. I have now cancelled my booking for next year and will never return to what was our favourite hotel in Spain. In my eyes this hotel has become all about squeezing people in to make more money, holding additional events at the expense of the residents. I have asked to speak to the manager first thing Monday morning when l will make my feelings known. Appalling holiday.
