Hotel Boutique Maribel (Adult Only)

Beautifully restoresd mansion. Great location in a truly incredible walled town. Spotless and charming. Breakfast was not a buffet for a change and was excellent. We will be back. Parking was a short walk away and was gated.

Hé rooms were uncomfortable with low-ceiling nooks and little space. The reception was cold.

Hotel Maribel is a wonderful hotel in beautiful Alquezar. The breakfast, in particular, is spectacular and plentiful, featuring fresh coffee, just-squeezed orange juice, pastries, fruit, cold cuts and a hot vegetable frittata that was different every day. The building is evidently very old as it befits this medieval town, so do not count on big lobbies, elevators or any of those conveniences, although it is very clean and charming (bordering on the whimsical, but still on this side of good taste). The staff is very friendly, helpful and approachable. The room was also very nice (small, inevitably) and there were flower trays on the beautiful windows. It was a very hot season, and the AC seemed to have a bit of trouble keeping the temperature down, but the town got cooler at night. Be warned that the streets are steep, narrow and cobbled. This means that driving to the door of the hotel is tricky, and you must not ignore the map that the hotel will send you with instructions to find its parking lot. GPS navigation will send you to the hotel through the town, which is not allowed - you must come in from the back and park in the lot as the map indicates (get the code number from the hotel in advance that you need to enter on the security pad). If you have heavy bags that need to be rolled you would be better off driving to the door of the hotel to leave the bags first, but you need to be somewhat adept at stopping and turning around in a sloping, narrow street. Once you find the parking lot of the hotel, however, it’s very easy to drive in and out of town as you like. The hotel itself is in a wonderful spot, close to everything. It does not offer dinner, but there are plenty of options in town. Definitely recommendable.

When we arrived at Alquezar, the first glimpse of the town was as we came round a corner from one of the “out of town” car parks, and it is a ruggedly stunning looking place. We found the hotel and the hotel parking easily, and the latter is very spacious and secure. The hotel fully lives up to the “boutique” in its title and is very smart indeed. Our room (201) is beautiful and is a mixture of attractive brickwork, wooden beams and plain, pastel coloured walls. The decor and furnishing is exquisite, and the en-suite is stylishly modern. Breakfast at Hotel Mirabel was just as exquisite as everything else about this hotel. Freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, good quality ham and cheese, a courgette tortilla, toast, croissants and coffee. This is a to class hotel and the service has been lovely.

Great little hotel centrally located. Interesting decorated rooms with fabulous artwork and painting. Beautiful bathrooms which are extremely well appointed. The breakfast was amazing, best hotel breakfast I've had - freshly squeezed orange juice to die for, croissants and toast, yogurt and juicy tasty tomatoes with ham and fresh cheese. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. You’re in the historic Alquezar and feel it inside and out of the building. The owner is born and raised which was a plus as far as supporting local. And despite having a rustic exterior, all of the amenities were offered in the room. Don’t hesitate. Book.

Hotel calme . Bien placé. Peu de chambre . Chambre grande avec baignoire SPA . Petit dejeuner copieux et savoureux avec jambon et jus d orange frais pressé. Vue sur le village d alquezar depuis grande fenêtre ou balcon. Personnel accueillant .

Hotel très bien placé quasiment au centre ville. Belles chambres spacieuses vue sur les toits et église de la collégiale. Baignoire à remous appréciable après les balades. Petit déjeuner copieux avec charcuterie fruits croissants fromage yaourt et jus d'orange pressé.

Buscábamos un alojamiento con hidromasaje y esta fue la primera opción que os salió, la elección fue fantástica. Es un hotelito íntimo para adultos precioso. La decoración es preciosa, hecho todo con mucho gusto y atención y la habitación muy cómoda. El propietario como el resto del personal encantador, y muy atentos a que todo esté a nuestro gusto. Es una gran idea la variedad de almohadas para que dormir sea cómodo, el detalle de albornoz y zapatillas además de las toallas, un detalle muy bueno y los amenities de aceite de oliva. El parquing es gratuito y el desayuno es de primerísima calidad. No es el clásico desayuno a base de bollos, nocilla… si no de embutidos, tostadas de pan no industrial, tortilla recién hecha, mermeladas caseras… inmejorable. La única sugerencia que haría es que pongan hervidores de agua, pero tampoco es un problema, ya que me prepararon agua caliente para hacerme una infusión en el bar del hotel.
