I travelled here on my own with easyJet holidays. I had low expectations having paid £360 for a week half-board. On arrival I found the room to be modern and clean. I was in a basic twin room, but this was comfortable. My only complaint is that the wifi didn’t reach the 4th floor which is a bit annoying for someone travelling alone. I had obviously arrived before they were fully set up for the season, but this didn’t bother me. I quite enjoyed seeing how they set up more during the week. Food was plentiful with great variety, I’d say it was more suited to the taste of German/Russian guests but I managed to always find something I liked to eat. The food from the bar was delicious. Drinks from the bar are cheap. The shop just behind the bar sells really cheap water and soft drinks too. The only facility I really used was the pool which was clean the whole time I was there. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.

I went to this hotel with my friends and we had problems with our rooms, the gave us rooms with bunk bed can u imagine some of my friends and I are curvy ladies. Well I complained and we were move quickly. I love the location and the friendly staff and like me and everyone else. We are going bk

Very nice hotel, good location, beach Just 50 m away, staff was very friendly, room was nice and clean, my room been cleaned every day, fresh towels everyday, I feel very safe at all time in this hotel. I'm happy to come back again. Thank you for all staff. Virginija

I loved it. Clean, great view at the front. Staff on the whole are very helpful. Room cleaned every day. About a mile walk to the harbour. 2 miles to a town the other side. I didn't eat there as I was Room only but great value. Only downside was the Internet on the 3rd and 4th floors. I came here to work and it was a bit of an issue. Ended up tethering most of the time. That being said though WiFi the last few days seems so much better. Maybe they have been upgrading as I have had no problems the last few days. Yes all in all very good and great value. Will definitely come again.

Just spent 7 days here half bored and couldn’t eat a thing went down for breakfast ok if you want potato wedges and peas the coffee machine is the only good thing in there the room was clean but the sliding door on the balcony had about an inch gap so couldn’t really sleep because of the constant traffic very busy road

Just returned from a 3 week stay at Eftalia Downtown Hotel....1st time staying here and cannot praise it highly enough...It was perfect for me. Room with beautiful views over sea and castle...Cleaned and serviced every day...All the staff were friendly and respectful...A special mention for Garden Bar manager Esraf and Ramazan....and Dilek, they were always smiling and cheerful....Unos in reception very welcoming....nothing was too much trouble for him.....Vele (oor Willie), Erdun, Tahsin and Orhan over at the beach cafe were helpful and cheery. In fact I cannot fault any of the staff...all 100%. The breakfast had lots of choices...something to suit everyone....The on site Hamam was perfect (especially Pinar ..she was great at doing the turkish bath)..so good I visited twice...Hoping to return in September (but so popular a hotel its not so easy to get reservation)..but I will try...

This hotel is so nice, I been twice now and still going again. The food was great choice every day. The staff was great and ready to help. The bedroom was not what we wanted but we were comfortable. Would recommend

My experience as an older slightly disabled person was very positive. Arrived late evening and couldn't find my hotel voucher, reception staff were happy for me to find it on my laptop the following morning which was much appreciated. My room was excellent in the reception building with a decent balcony and comfortable bed. There was enough storage for my luggage but if there had been 2 of us it would have been a bit of a tight squeeze as I used all the hangers supplied and put blouses on top of blouses etc. The cleaner who looked after my room was excellent and even under my bed was clean (a pen rolled under the bed so lifted it up as I hadn't a spare pen). The food was adequate, nothing that delighted me but nothing that was inedible with reasonable choice. I have 2 criticisms of my dining experience - the plates were cold meaning the hot food was cool by the time you sat down to eat and unless you were first in the dining room there was a dearth of knives which influenced my choice of food. The bar makes splendid food at lunchtime, early evening at a very reasonable price and twice I opted to eat at the bar rather than in the dining room for my evening meal. The bar on the beach is equally good in terms of food and charges the same as the hotel bar. I don't know the price of alcoholic drinks but a small bottle of really well chilled water was £1.00. Entertainment is held in front of the bar twice a week after the evening meal. I really enjoyed the dancing and acrobatics but didn't enjoy the vocalists - but that's a personal preference and not intended as criticism. I watched the entertainment from my balcony as quite a few people were standing because there was a dearth of seats. The hotel hasn't enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel but it's only 1Euro per sunbed per person per day if you use the beach sunbeds and pay at reception. If you choose to swim in the sea take beach shoes as there are some quite sharp stones on the beach.
