Bab Al Nojoum – Al Mugheirah Resort

Sadly I never made it as it was a non-refundable booking for 3 nights back in June and I had a medical certificate to certify my condition at that point of time which unfortunately did not allow me to make it but there was nothing the management could do as a form of goodwill. I kindly requested for credits but they were so strict with their non refundable policy😢 I understand it's usually based on hotel policies but most will be able to assess exceptions on a case by case basis and I was disappointed that the management was so adamant about it. Lesson learnt, even though it was unforseen circumstances so for this resort just be sure you turn up if its a NR booking.

Our family had a fantastic staycation at Bab Al Nojoum. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and well-trained. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Property was away from the city and was very relaxing. Some of the staff was superb. Ami, CC, Bilal was friendly. But the most impressive one was Soliman. The plunge pool was very good. All Inclusive package was a good add-on, but the food was the same every day. Breakfast was very bad. The food was the same, the bread was old and the cheese was dry and old. In the pool, even the water bottles are chargeable despite its all-inclusive pacakge. Sometimes, you have to request the same thing a couple of times. Water bottles are environmentally friendly but not sealed. Bathroom water doesn't drain. Rather, I will have to wait till it dries. Activities are there, but most of the things are not open. You will be just dropped in the activity locations, and you have to figure it out from there. The main pool was very cold, especially the kid's pool. The first day, we were told it would get hot automatically due to the sun. It didn't happened and on the 2nd day, we insisted on making it hot, so they switched on the temperature control. Lastly, despite it being not busy, we stayed for 2 nights all inclusive; for late checkout till 3pm (only), we asked 2 times but only managed to get till 2.30pm. I found it unreasonable, especially since we had lunch also for the same day. Good relaxing stay but lot to improve.

We decided on a different 2 night family staycation compared to normal hotels and beaches. On arrival we were greeted with 5* service, the area explained and all that we could see and do on our trip. We were taking tk our modified container and were stunned out how spacious and perfect the accommodation is. 2 bedroom, bathroom lounge and small kitchen indoor. Plus a seating area and plunge pool outdoor. The perfect place to chill out, We got on our bikes and we explored passing the running and jumping gazelles as we rode. Working up a sweat we returned to the Oasis pool where we spent a few hours chilling. Kayaking, walking, cycling, swimming, table tennis and chilling the perfect get away from our busy lives. Food was good, would like to have seen a little more selection as I would imagine if coming for more than 2 nights it might get repetitive, quality and quantity could not fault. All the staff ensured that we had everything we needed, it would be unfair to highlight one. We will be back. Thank you

“Our stay at Bab Al Najoum Mugheirah Resort was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staffs are went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The resort itself is a true hidden gem, offering a peaceful and serene ambiance that is perfect for relaxation. We stayed in one of their Airstreams, which was a unique and romantic experience. My husband and I chose to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary at this resort, and it was worth it. During our stay, we enjoyed various activities such as kayaking, bicycling, and hiking, all of which were provided by the resort. They even provided bicycles for us to explore the resort, where we encountered gazelles and sheep roaming the grounds. A special mention must be made for Solomon, whose exceptional service and assistance truly made our stay extraordinary. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help with any request made us feel like VIP guests. The food at the resort was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The ambiance of the resort added to the overall experience, with beautiful surroundings that added to the tranquility of our stay. We cannot recommend Bab Al Najoum Mugheirah Resort highly enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to the entire staffs for making our stay so memorable!”

If you would like to stay away from the hustle bustle of city life, this place is the best choice! We had an amazing stay and the place was absolutely stunning! The staffs also are very accommodating and you'd feel the warm welcome, assisting your needs the best they can, making sure you will have a memorable experience during our stay. I would like to special mention Venkana, Nareesh, Rey, Venny, Diana & Solomon these are the best staffs highly recommended.

We have stayed here twice and both times it’s been great. Excellent staff and a wonderful experience for our young boys. I would confidently say it’s one of my favourite places in the UAE. It’s relaxed with a wonderful and accommodating welcome.

My husband and I visited the camp to celebrate our wedding anniversary (it was our first time there) and we had an overall lovely experience. We drove from Abu Dhabi to Al Marfa region, which is about an 80 min drive. It seems a bit far because there isn’t much out there, but once you get to the camp you get the chance to disconnect from the city life and enjoy nature. The staff was always super friendly and attentive to our needs; from the moment we walked into the reception we were greeted and offered traditional Emirati gahwa and dates. We were then driven to our camper to drop off our belongings and had a special arrangement in our camper, which was beautiful. We were later picked up to have dinner in the common areas. There is a 24-hr pick-up/drop-off service from your campsite to anywhere in the camp. There are also bikes available that you can use to move around if you prefer. We spent a total of 2 nights and 2.5 days. On the second day we did an early morning (7am) nature drive where we learned about the local flora and fauna, and visited the vegetable patch. Later that day we went kayaking near the mangroves and to finish off the day, we went on a sunset horse ride. There are a lot more activities (including a temperature-controlled swimming pool) that we didn’t get a chance to try because we were tight with time, so we went for the main attractions. The food was exceptional! Especially the steak. The staff always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. I would like to give a special thanks to Vinoid, Rey, Jhay, Mufizur, Ahmed, Yousef, chef Omran and chef Dennis, Ibrahim, Adjmal, Andy, and everyone else who made sure we were taken care of at all times, thank you so much!!! The camp is beautiful and has everything you need to have a full-on glamping experience, it’s the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Highly recommend, we will definitely come back soon.

What a little slice of wonderful ! A great place for family and friends to stay together and enjoy the things in life that are fundamental. Space, good food and fun adventures. Friendly staff and great accommodation with good space saving ideas - comfortable beds and clean laundry - the dipping pool could have been a little cooler but it is peak summer ! The actual pool was the perfect temp! The bikes at each accommodation were handy and fun to go explore the forest. Food was great and Spanish coffee was delightful! Easy to get too and hints of the Australian bush about it and Arabian hospitality done well. Would highly recommend!
