Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously. The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day. The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the remarkable team.

Honest review. Good points; Nice room. Daily maid service. Lovely clean pool area. Friendly lifeguards/pool staff. Excellent service from the waiters in the restaurant. Beautiful, friendly, loveable cats that live in the hotel grounds and are loved by all of the guests. Bad points; Reception staff requested English money for the tourist tax and did not give change. They take it in English and round it up to the nearest note and then keep the change for themselves. They did this with every member of our group. The indoor pool temperature was cold on some days. The food in the restaurant is average and very poorly labelled, no good for vegetarians or anybody with food allergies. The ingredients are not listed on any of the food labels. There is a vegetarian section in the restaurant, which has a vegetarian sign but there was often a rice dish with chicken on the label in the vegetarian section. Also for most meals there were only vegetables in this section rather than substantial food. Vegetarians do not only eat vegetables! You can have fresh pasta made but sometimes when you ask the chef for a vegetarian pasta dish they use the same pan with meat left in it from the previous guests dish. We enquired about eating in the a la carte restaurant but was told it was only open on a particular day and ”we only have lamb couscous.” The bingo in the evening was good but was spoilt due to some of the Tunisian guests who were not playing bingo sat playing loud music on their IPad whilst the numbers were being called. A member of the animation team saw this but did not ask them to turn the music off. During our stay there was a very sick cat in the hotel grounds, which appeared to have been ran over or squashed. It's back legs and back were broken and it was dragging itself around the hotel grounds bleeding. Numerous guests went to the hotel reception to report this and were told that a vet had been called and was coming the next day. This went on for multiple days until one of the guests posted a review about it on trip advisor with a photo of the poor cat. Upon seeing the trip advisor review the hotel guest relations staff admitted that the reception staff had been lying to the guests about phoning the vet but said they would call a vet and asked the guest to remove their review from trip advisor.

Firstly maybe not for people with mobility issues as lots of steps. Staff are very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Not many Brits here we were the only ones there for eight days. Meal times were fun you could have to wait a while for clean plates and some weird and wonderful food but there was always something good to eat. Only basic drinks available on AI vodka whiskey and lager. The animation team put on good shows would have been better if we knew what they were saying but visuals said enough. We enjoyed our stay but would prefer somewhere a little more touristy.

Where do I start... this review is for people searching for a hotel, not for the owner, who just replies but does nothing to improve on... 1st we arrived at our hotel El Mouradi club selima only to be diverted to club next door same owner, due to closing for winter. upon arrival sent straight to dinning area for leftover scraps.... found room smelt of paraffin oil, greasy floor with rubbish and cigarette butt's on the floor, and a bathroom held together with sealant and glass and mirrors cleaned with a greasy cloth, smears everywhere. Got a 2nd room, which was no better. So we were offered a 3rd which had been cleaned but cost us €20 bribe. At least it smelt of bleach. The bathroom is still held together with sealant. Room 689, No air-conditioning just a fan.....towels disappeared in the morning and not returned until late. So, when returning from the beach at midday to shower before eating, had nothing to dry off with. After asking at reception and being ignored several times by extremely rude staff. We got towels at 3pm. Woke up to no electricity in room 689, so back to reception eventually told its our hairdryer that we did not bring on holiday, tripping it out, next day no electricity again back to reception and told its my fault as I used the light switch, OK fix the switch. Eventually, the cleaning lady switched the breaker. Next day, there was no electricity yet again, so I found the electricity cupboard undone. I found the breaker cabinet and did it myself. Food hall...... well, it's worse than a black Friday sale. I couldn't believe it people piling food on as many plates that they could get( then leaving most of it, which i can understand). If you like greasy food, this is for you. I'm just glad that the Hard Rock Cafe is up the road. Best food and cooked to perfection. Unlike the hotel offerings. As with most other reviews waiting staff only look after those that tip, unlucky because I only tip at the end of the week, so I saved some money. Bar staff outside and at the beach were brilliant, laughing and joking, understandable, given the lack of drinks they have to work with..... Beach was nice..... Couldn't wait to go home...

Very good hotel, reasonable SPA price, 20% discount for hotel guests, special technicians are in place to abide by the law, Ctrip also offers a buffet dinner and breakfast for low room rates, which is really a pleasant surprise! There is also a karaoke PARTY in the hotel lobby at night. In short, this is a perfect accommodation experience!

This is probably the best hotel upto yet I’ve stayed in around Port el Kantaoui! The hotel is spacious clean and plenty of room to sit and chill! The restaurant is beautiful, lots of choice and could always find something to eat! The waiters are all so friendly and attentive. It was nice to have drinks service around the pool and beach! The beach is so nice and clean. Could always find a sunbed! The entertainment team work so hard to keep you busy all day long! My only advice would be to still have some outside entertainment coming in to perform! Some nights was very boring! But overall a beautiful hotel!
