The attractions introduced to us by the front desk on the second day were very unprofessional. If you are looking for good attractions, be sure to go to the visitor center in the city, which recommended the restaurant to see the sunset (les Sanguinaires) and several museums that are free on Sundays!"

"A gorgeous hotel outside of Ajaccio! The deluxe rooms were enormous, with exceptional views of the water, and highly recommended. The staff and service were excellent, and the location was close enough to walk into the old town, but far enough to also allow us to easily explore outside the city. The restaurant is fancy, french, and quite good as well."

"Very average hotel. We had requested parking and when we arrived, there was no space available. For a reservation: a couple + a child --＞ we were given 3 small single beds!!! The air conditioning was blocked --＞ impossible to adjust it. The shower head had an overly powerful jet --＞ horrible. And the water from the shower went under the door and flooded the shower room. The positive points: the pleasant staff and the immediate proximity to the port which is really convenient when you arrive or when you have to take the ferry very early in the morning."

"You genuinely cannot beat the views at this hotel - sunset in particular is stunning. We also had a gorgeous view of the Sea from our bedroom. The staff were friendly and spoke great English - the concierges and bartenders in particular were great. We both enjoyed our massages at the hotel (Ingrid did a fantastic job!) and really enjoyed the food (both breakfast and supper). We enjoyed the fact that it was a bit secluded but others may not - Porticcio is close but a bit hairy to walk to. We'd give it 4.5 stars if we could - the only drawback was our room occasionally had an odd smell that we could never track down. Overall we would definitely recommend it and stay here again."

"We stayed here on our last night in Corsica. Check-in and parking were a breeze and Cecilia made every effort to help us and show us around. The hotel is like going back in time, not dated, just seems like an old Hollywood or South of France hotel back in the 1950’s or 1960’s. The decor in the lobby was beautiful, the corner bar was quaint with a great assortment of liquors, beers, and wines, and the restaurant/swimming pool area were right on the sea with beautiful views of Ajaccio and the gulf. There is plenty of seating by the pool. Staff were attentive on getting drinks for us, if needed. The swimming pool was saltwater straight from the gulf and warmed to a comfortable temperature. The jacuzzi was warm. We had a small corner hotel room that was small but comfortable. The room was nice but may be due for a makeover soon. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was completely updated. The only two problems we could find were the bathtub had poor drainage and there was some hair on the floor from previous guests. Normally the hair on the floor would be an automatic one star deduction, but the rest of the hotel was just so awesome that it was hard for me to deduct a point here. We didn’t have dinner here, we opted to walk to the old town, a 25 minute walk away. We did have the breakfast for 29 Euro, and it was fabulous. The breads, cheeses, meats, homemade yoghurt, omelettes, fruits were all fantastic and we didn’t have to eat another meal until dinner. Checkout was at 12 pm, wished we could have stayed longer before we departed to the airport. Overall a wonderful stay."
