Driving to the Ait Ben Haddu area from the north in our campervan on road P1506 we spotted this simple Auberge and decided to ask about parking. What a fantastic welcome. When Mohammed says "my home is your home" he means it. We had shady parking outside with chairs and a table provided. We were shown the clean and functional toilet and showers (hot). He also has six bedrooms which we did not see. We ordered dinner and it turned out his wife is an excellent cook so we could not resist ordering the simple but excellent breakfast. He and his wife joined us after dinner to chat in the spacious common room. He has four lovely children who seemed to sense when we wanted peace and quiet to sort out our van. It was lovely seeing them go to school the next day after hearing them doing their homework the night we arrived. It was only after we left the next day that we realised we where lees than 2 Km from the tourist attraction of Ait Ben Haddu. We could have left our campervan at the Auberge and walked across the fields along the river. Staying at this Auberge enables one to arrive before the morning tourist rush. David Hillebrandt
