Hotel Big Daddy

I was here in the last week of August. A close friend of mine referred me to this hotel. The hotel is right opposite the famous ITC Moghul Sheraton. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much as I saw the hotel from the road. As I entered, I found the lobby quite small but with cosy sofa and coffee table. With no expectation I moved to the restaurant. I was taken aback altogether. A restaurant with European theme and lounge sitting was right here to welcome me. The staff were very courteous to immediately offer me water and check my comfort. I told them, what a place it is. Doesn't feel like this from the road and lobby. Sonu, The General ***ager, asked me if I was interested in something more exciting. I was curious and followed him. He took me to the rooftop lounge. It was in the process of renovation. Amazing set up and the best part - uninterrupted view of Taj from the rooftop What else do you expect in the city of Taj ? The rooms are not too big but comfortable. The passage give you a feel of retro years, chandelier over the stairs and photo booth in the gallery. This place is a Big Surprise. I was informed the lobby used to be a lot bigger but 70 % of it has been rented out to Bikanerwala food joint. This opens up more options for people to dine. All in all a must visit and must stay place in Agra, reachable distance from Tajmahal
