CNic Gemini Hotel

That was a real pleasure to come back to this hotel :) Great personnel - attentive, caring and sincerely friendly. Big clean rooms, great choice of the deliciouse food, close to the sea - all you need at holidays! Hopefully, will come back next year again ;)

Best hotel I’ve stayed at! All the staff are lovely and are so easy to communicate with all have great English. Ivan, the entertainer, was brilliant formed a great bond with him and was more than happy to ensure all of his guests were happy and satisfied, he definitely made the atmosphere feel more homely. Will be sad to be leaving him. Defiantly will consider coming back next year. The hotel rooms were clean and come equipped with a kettle and hair dryer, cleaners were also so respectful and would always know I before asking if we wanted room service. Front of house were also always willing to answer any questions we had and never complained about anything! Loved this hotel overall and cannot recommend enough :)

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly awful experience. From the moment we arrived ! There was no WiFi, and none of the power sockets in my room worked. The kettle was broken, the flush was broken and the shower head was also damaged. To make matters worse, there was no shower curtain, which is a major safety issue due to the wet floors. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, with only one person at reception able to speak English. The TV in my room was hanging off the wall with wires exposed, creating a hazardous environment. If you want to iron your clothes, there is only one iron available for the entire hotel, and they chase you to return it immediately. When I asked to speak to the manager to complain about these issues and the lack of technical support for the WiFi, I was told that they were too busy to speak with me. I have traveled extensively and have never encountered such a poorly managed hotel. Avoid this place at all costs!

Overall our stay was fine and we’ve had a lovely time. We arrived and were told that we couldn’t have any dinner as the restaurant was closed at 9.30 pm- even though we had booked breakfast and dinner for our stay. There was absolutely no flexibility with this so if your plane and transfer gets you in later than 9.30pm you need to plan ahead. All the nearby restaurants were closed too! Our first 2 rooms didn’t have working air conditioning but we did end up in a room the following day which had air conditioning which worked so that was good. The pool isn’t big enough for the hotel but I got the impression that most people go to the beach anyway. The internet only works in the reception area which may be an issue if you have teenage children. The food is satisfactory to good. The hotel is in a lovely part of Corfu so we enjoyed our stay mainly because of this. The beach is lovely and there is a bar with sun beds as soon as you walk on which are free if you buy drinks from the bar. The food is delicious in there, as were other meals we had whilst out and about. There is a general feel in the hotel, mainly created by unsmiling staff working there which lets it down. The staff in the restaurant are particularly sullen. The staff on reception aren’t smiley but were helpful.

The place is lovely the manager is very hands on and nothing is to much to ask! We will definitely be back the food was amazing and when we had an issue when we arrived it was sorted straight away with little issues. Cannot fault the place. The canteen staff were also lovely .. and the bar staff were also good

I was at the hotel from 18.08 to 28.08. My room was comfortable, the food good, the staff friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the animation team who involved us in various activities. Their smile is contagious.

The entertainment staff are excellent! Especially Ivan and Joandra. They learned my kids names on the first day and were friendly to everyone always. Room was adequate, although the shower was a disappointing dribble.

First, the facilities of this hotel, are amazing! The hotel seems recently rennovated and is always clean and proper. The food has a nice variety and was always delicious and it is very convenient that the hotel is next to the beach. Definetly would come again!

Ok so Me and 3 friends came to stay at the Gemini for 4 nights for my 30th birthday, we were very excited as reviews were so good. We requested an early check in before arrival and they couldn’t accommodate this - with no explanation disappointing but it’s ok. On arrival we were told rooms weren’t ready - but it’s ok so needed to waited a-bit longer for rooms and went for lunch Room- we had a family room for 3 of us and was lovely and clean and modern with a lovely balcony, beds ok. And amazing bathroom. Room had fridge tv and safe also a hair dryer We then went for dinner and were gob smacked at how bad the food was and how aggressive the waiters were about beverages. So apparently if you are only breakfast and dinner plan with hotel you must pay for all drinks from machines or fridge (the fridge has a chain and pad lock on it) No one told us this so we sat down with our awful juices (sugar no juice) and no one greatest us on arrival and no one on reception made us aware of any of these rules. So we had 3 waiters surround our table demanding payment for drinks we were shocked at the way they handled this and politely said sorry we didn’t know this, also no one on reception explained this on check in how it works in the restaurant. The 3 waiters refused to move until they had payment so my poor friend that had to pay on card had to go all the way to reception to pay for her drink and leave her dinner on table (we had just got off our flight) we then went to finally eat our dinner and oh my god so so bad. No seasoning, no flavour and cooked awful. I’ve never experienced such bad food in a hotel before. It smells good and looks alright on arrival but shockingly tasteless. I would go room only if I stayed at Gemini. The breakfast just as bad. Baked beans tasted like fish .. how ? Disgusting. It was so weird how it all looked so good but tasted so so bad. Pool was lovely and you get good wifi from there Hotel it super close to super market, tiny beaches, restaurants, atms, bars Didn’t use the bar as never open it hotel Avoid the restaurant next to Italian they will rip you off and over charge and bring you things you didn’t ask for but charge. Housekeeping good but don’t expect any requests to be met just go and ask or get it from them yourself :) We are all sick from the air con also
