Stayed for 6 days at the end of June/July 2023. Firstly I have to say this is an excellent hotel, the location is sublime. I took the pictures from my bean bag sun lounger as I write this. The views are something else and the sea is clear, clean and accessible from the private cliff area. Probably the best resort I’ve been too for this type of experience. The staff are lovely, polite, friendly and can’t do enough for you, the breakfast is very good, lots of variety. The rooms are of a good size and the beds are comfy, pillows are good. The air con is incredible. We paid a bit extra for a sea view with a balcony and it was well worth it. Booked through an agent these rooms are £130 per night. Booked at the hotel directly closer to £100 per night. Couple of things to be mindful of. It’s a high end hotel so drinks are not cheap. A Hendricks gin and tonic will set you back 16 euros. A 1.5 litre bottle of water 3.5 euros. Within the marina itself the sand drinks will cost you 10 euros and 60 cents respectively. The food however is not expensive and if good quality although we only ate here twice at lunch and just had salads. The bar tender is good though, his frozen lime daiquiri was as good as any I’ve ever had. The local marina is ten minutes walk and you can walk by the sea, which is lovely. The martinis itself is pretty and there are a number of very good taverna’s serving all the Greek classics and good seafood options. All of which are crazily cheap. Dinner for 2, with wine and service at circa 25 euros per head, and that’s ordering the more expensive menu items. One thing the hotel needs to think about is the access point to the sea. It is very, very slippy. In 6 days three people ( including my partner fell over and onto the rocky surface around the steps. Her lower back was really bruised. I’m not saying let this stop you coming, because it absolutely shouldn’t, but be aware and be careful. Other than that I have no complaints. An excellent hotel in a wonderful location staffed by friendly and skilled hospitality professionals who speak amazing English ( and loads of other languages too) I can’t recommend highly enough and will definitely return. Thank you Apollo, it was wonderful.
