The room was a good size and relatively comfortable, although threadbare in many ways. The linen on the bed was so full of static electricity that we actually saw blue sparks flying around after we switched the lights in room off.The staff were friendly and helpful in many ways.

Ficamos neste hotel devido a uma escala linda na Etiópia, a reserva foi feita pela própria companhia aérea Ethiopian. Serviço péssimo, muito longe do aeroporto em um local escuro e estranho, não parecia muito limpo, comida servida fria e sem gosto.

I stayed with this property in December, 2023. In years of travel to Ethiopia, I've rarely had a poor experience. The room had numerous cockroaches in the bathroom and bedroom. The bathtub was not connected to the floor, and there was consistently no water pressure and no hot water. Additionally, at check out, I was told by the staff of the hotel that I had never paid for my stay. I had paid online, but according to the staff, that was only a 'booking fee.' Coincidentally, the charge they said I owed at checkout was the same as the nightly rate I had already paid for online. I had to catch a flight, and did not have time to dispute with the staff, but this was clearly a scam.

Poor staffing. Poor management. They send their guards to your roomfor any services. No bellboys. No waiters. Unethical receptionists!!! They don't know how to treat customers. Terrible place to stay. Please do not come to here specially with your wife and kids. They give you a heart attack.

Keep clear. This is probably the worst of 100s of hotels I’ve ever stayed at in a range of countries and stars. Dirty. Awful service. Cockroaches in the bed & on my toothbrush. Light fittings dont work. Food is bland & greasy. Won’t go on. Just find something else

This run down place does not even deserve a single star. I paid for 7 nights and left the hotel after 1 single night not even asking for a refund! The dirtiest, most derelict hotel i've ever been to in Addis Ababa. I almost electrocuted myself when i tried to take a bath. I opened the water taps and water started bursting from every hole and the floor was flooded in a few seconds. Closed the taps when i realized the water had already inundated the bedroom. Tried to get out the tab and DANGER realized that a plugged electricity socket was literally at floor level and water almost reached it ! I waited for the water to drain, throw 2 towels on the floor and jump out of the bathroom stepping on those dry towels. I left the hotel immediately and even thought of calling the police. The hotel is a big scam.

Avoid! I’ve written 60+ reviews and this is my first bad one. Cockroaches in the bed and my toothbrush. A single teabag (no milk). Wake up calls don’t come & nearly missed plane. Half my laundry lost and told I must make arrangements to mail it back. Never answer communications. There are much better places in Addis.

Check any laundry you get back - trousers weren’t returned and a random tracksuit pants belonging to someone else returned (discovered when I had already left). Cockroach bed buddies. Staff friendly and good basic but fine.

Stayed 2 nights on a business trip. An average hotel at a cheap rate and you get what you pay for. Laundry did was not returned (now I have left Addis) with trousers that I sent and did include somebody else’s track suit pants. Cockroaches in bed and basin which is no big deal if they dint worry you. Staff friendly and food fine
