很難說這家飯店非常棒，但過去確實有其輝煌的歷史。連當地人都說這家飯店太舊了。整體的室內裝潢停留在1990代，不太符合現代的生活。最大的問題是我住了五天，房間內的蚊子太多，每天都吵的無法好好睡覺，如果要選擇住這這裡，這個是最大的問題。但是這裡有很棒的位置，服務人員不錯，早餐也不錯，有很大的花園。

In spite of that their facilities show in some parts the time passing, all staff is very attentive and efficient; gardens are enjoyable, also the Jazz club, is well ocated near the National Museum, bus and metro stations, view from Woreknesh Genet Restaurant.

I booked this spot because it was very affordable. Only upon arriving did I realize how huge and classy the place is. Was not expecting a big, sprawling executive style hotel. The place does have an air of faded glory from bygone times, but a very welcome stay. Rugs are worn, furniture in foyer a little beat up, but classy and comfortable throughout. Staff are fantastic, the grounds are enormous and lush, there are many places to sit and relax, and Ghion features a stunning restaurant. A massive, two-tier, round wooden building with a high, circular, peaked roof, in an elegant, sturdy Ethiopian traditional construction. Absolutely beautiful, with wonderful, authentic Ethiopian cuisine at an affordable cost. Wonderful. My only complaint is that, as an old guy with fading eyesight, rooms are dark! Even with all lights on, still tough to read anything, and it took some minutes to get water from the tub or sink to begin running warm. Still, and absolutely gorgeous site, well worth the very modest price. Will happily stay there again any time I return to Addis.

it's mega fumbled-old and no hot water! dirty. I left the hotel 3 days early because it was not to sleep in such an old bed. TV didn't work at all. pasonale was super sweet. but the hotel needs a serious upgrade without mold etc.

One of the worst hotels i have ever been in my life, stayed for just two nights, i would leave from the first minute if it wasn't too late. The water in the bathroom is not clean, it has a disgusting taste and touch with white color. The water in the bathroom was not draining, i reported the issue, they send someone to check. After checking he said he has no tools and he will come Again in the morning, for sure he didn't show up. I talked again to the reception in the afternoon, no one show up too. The third time i said i will not move from the reception till they send the guy, after 20 minutes of waiting the guy came and fixed the issue. You need to keep the water running for almost 10 minutes inorder to finally get the hot water. There are some bugs hanging around the room. Windows were broken causing the room to be very cold. The prices at the desk are almost double compared to booking sites If there is one thing positive to mention it will be the surroundings of the hotel, was really very beautiful

The garden area is really good, spacious and well kept with ample security. The staff are very polite and helpful.
The T.V situation is poor and needs attention. There are no Tea or coffee making facilities and some of the rooms are void of a fridge.
I found the hotel good value for money and will definately try to rebook.

The property needs a lot of work to bring it up to scratch. For example no water came out when you turn on the hot water. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful
