Tzilios Studios

We have just stayed at Tzilios for a week in room 12 on the second floor and have absolutely loved it. The view from the balcony towards the ocean and Albanian mountains are absolutely stunning. The apartments are typically Greek but very well equipped. Pool is a great size with plenty of sunbeds/ umbrellas. Onsite bar serves drinks at a very reasonable price with a small food menu which we could not fault having eaten here twice. The kitchen has a small oven/ 2 hobs/ kettle/ crockery/ utensils etc. The walk to the beachfront with bars and restaurants were less than a 10 minute walk, with an abundance of supermarkets and small local shops all within a short distance. We had an absolutely fantastic stay here thanks to Bettina and all the staff. You could not hope to meet nicer people. Value for money/ facilities/ location I think would be very hard to beat anywhere else in Achavari.

Great wee hotel,had a late flight which was delayed a couple hours so everything was closed....so so grateful for the bottle of water which was left in room for us. Requested a ground floor as hubby walks with crutches which was granted. Rooms clean pool area lovely and food at bar was amazing. No complaints at all Brian and Hazel room 20

Lovely hotel, great value for money... huge swimming pool, very resonable prices at pool bar. Good food. Great location bars and restaurants on main street 10min walk (Alegria was exceptional mixed seafood plater and mixed meat plater amazing)... bars and resturants on the beach front 10/ 15 minutes away. Bus stop out the front 5min bus journey to rhoda. I suggest getting the ferry over to Albania and then catching a taxi over to ksimil lovely beaches. Sidara very beautiful too we spent the day there caught a taxi for 25euros.

Lovely apartments, they make you really feel welcome. It is effectively run by a very friendly Greek family, its not posh, but you have everything you need, and you only need to ask if you want anything or help. They have quite a lot of cute friendly cats that roam around the place. The pool is lovely, their are always plenty of sunbeds available. The bar and food served there is very good and very reasonably priced. Wifi is very good by the pool and bar area. Sometimes we were not always able to get wifi in our apartment, perhaps it needs a booster? or perhaps too many people using it at the same time? The town of Acharavi is on the doorstep, and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The local beach is about 400 metres walk. The bus stop is just outside, and has a reasonable bus service, alternatively you can book coach trips to other local resorts cheaply anyway, if you dont wish to drive. We would be quite happy to go back again, and highly recommend this place.

We have just returned from holiday and stayed at these lovely Apts. They are simple Greek style with all you need to cook simple meals and the snack bar is open all day. The staff were all very friendly and when we asked for an extra pillow it was delivered within minutes. Air-conditioning was available but due to position of bedrooms they were cool at night, patio was also always in shade. With 30 degree heat this was appreciated. Rooms were cleaned every 3 days and cleaning materials were available outside if you wished to use it. What really made our stay was the cats on site. The kittens and older cats were all well fed & flea less. Kept us entertained for hours. Pool was fabulous! Very deep and you could see right to bottom. Showing how clean & well maintained it was. All in all lovely Apts, friendly people and you could hear a pin drop all night long. If you want a 2* Apt near a shingle beach with luxury sunbeds available I have no problem recommending Tzilios for your stay. Barry Family

Second time staying here as it’s a lovely place- basic but apartments have everything you need, beautiful massive pool, good bar, delicious food and friendly staff, LOADS of sunbeds. It is a 15/20 minute walk to the beach/town. Our first visit was amazing and so relaxing with lovely guests to chat pleasantly with over a drink or by the pool however this visit didn’t have the same vibe due to some of the English guests- loud, obnoxious and cliquey (a certain few parties) but they definitely ruined the first few days for me personally. No consideration for anyone else and appeared to be unable to talk quietly- everything was at full decibel from morning til night. Obviously this isn’t the hotel’s fault but it has put me off wanting to go back in case they were to return at the same time, the last couple of days were blissfully peaceful once the majority had gone home aside from one woman who was there the whole time 🙄. All in all a great wee place- take earplugs and headphones incase you have the misfortune of being there at the same time as the Yorkshire/Leeds folk.

We came for a week and had 2 studios that were located top floor, so we had a lovely view of the sea and the Albanian mountains. We had been to Acharavi twice before so we knew the area in terms of what restaurants were there and where supermarkets etc were situated. Not stayed at these studios before but had decent reviews so booked it. So glad we did. The studios are basic but typically in Greek style. No issues there and was expected. AC was great and quiet. Had good sized fridge, Microwave, toaster, kettle and sandwich toaster in the kitchen area. Bathroom typically small but decent shower. Balcony was good size too with table and 3 chairs. Pool area was lovely, and the pool so clean. No rush for sunbeds at all, even at midday. We had the pool to ourselves for most mornings which made it all the more relaxing. Used the bar every day for coffee and lunch and drinks, all very reasonably priced and the food was also very good. You also get offered lemon cake and Ouzo regularly but only had the cake once as was full up from lunch but a lovely touch. Family run and all were friendly and approachable. Cats were about but were owned by the apartments and they had just had kittens so these too were wandering around much to the delight of my daughter! Although apartments were full it seemed that most people had cars and were touring so came and went in their cars daily. Some went to the beach also so never felt busy. Would certainly return as location is fab and it is quiet. Road noise didn't bother us but can be busy and if a light sleeper maybe an issue although it does quieten down in evenings and overnight.

I just returned from a one week vacation at Tzilios. Very nice environment, great swimming pool and the view from the second floor was beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is close to the village center with restaurants, shops and close to the beach.

We had such a lovely, chilled holiday at these apartments! The location is great, less than 10 mins walk to the beach and restaurants and Acharavi is a great resort with shops and loads of lovely restaurants to choose from! Our favourite places to eat were Woodys, Bardens (both on the beach) and Ilo Ilo (cafe on the main street of the resort, brilliant breakfast). The pool is beautiful at Tzilios, clean and deep, never busy even during summer holidays and never an issue getting a sunbed. The staff are lovely and helpful, we had free, freshly baked lemon cake every day and some free shots! We also ate there as the food is very reasonable and it was very nice. We had a room on the top floor which I would recommend as the views of the sea and Albania are great and the sunsets are beautiful (definitely recommend watching the sunset from the beach too). The apartments themselves are very basic but clean and everything you need. The balconies are a good size. I borrowed a hairdryer from reception for free. We paid extra for the air con which is 4 euros per night and we definitely needed it in July. Outside the hotel on the main road is a bus stop which is handy for using the Corfu green buses which I would also recommend. We did find buying groceries from the shop very expensive which I was surprised about but eating/drinking out cheaper than the UK. For the price we paid, we were very happy with our holiday and we would definitely return, don't book if you expect luxury accommodation but we hardly spent any time in our rooms so it didn't bother us.
