For our local excursions, we were assisted by a driver who had been arranged for us in Lijiang. Even if it can be said everywhere that many more guests will soon be able to enjoy nature here, Lugu Lake still offers something, at least in the off-season, that has become rare in Yunnan's tourist strongholds: peace, space, nature.
