Twin room was fine, but shower was small and the shower head could have done with a clean. Reception area and bar/restaurant was pleasant. I stayed here as part of a coach trip. I believe the hotel promised things they couldn’t deliver! Breakfast was buffet style and cold. Items ran out quickly but it took so long to top up, we just gave up. Evening meal wasn’t much better. Set menu with two choices and repetitive every night. It was quite tasty with mash potato, swede and carrots every evening. I requested chips one night and offered to pay. In the end the manager put a bowl of chips on each table - result. Service was appalling. One evening I had ate my chicken and mash before the vegetables arrived. Nearly 3 hours for our meal. People just kept leaving. Our driver spoke to the manager and reception to complain about the service and was assured it would be rectified - it wasn’t. Seems we were being treated like second class citizens because we were on a coach. People who were ordering off the Al a Carte menu were being served first. Not acceptable. I hope the coach company won’t use them again.

Me and my husband went for a short getaway and were greeted by the loveliest staff who were very attentive to all me and my husband’s needs. My favourite part of the hotel was the restaurant and beautifully decorated library bar. The restaurant and bar staff were all well trained, very kind and knowledgeable. Me and my husband both agreed that the atmosphere and food was one of the best we have experienced. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here last weekend for 2 nights. 4 of us 2 couples,from the moment we walked in I was totally blown away by the warm welcome at reception! Rooms were really cosy and there was everything we needed.Ate in restaurant on Friday evening and food was great standard and staff really informative. Great relaxed atmosphere. Every member of staff we encountered in the hotel were amazing and taking an interest in what we were planning to do during our stay in Derry. Can’t wait to go back - felt we had made new friends Sharon was like meeting up with a friend I hadn’t seen for a while and was The Icing on the cake.!

Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are clean excellent bed. Shower is an added bonus non slip floor and walk in. Room is air conditioned and black out curtains. So a good night's sleep assured. Breakfast is self device buffet will not be hungry afterwards. We liked the free tea and coffee you make yourself and can sit in rhe comfortable seats watch the world go by also have a bar. We were very pleased with this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending

The staff in this hotel is what makes it so welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for you, with a smile on their face and great humour. Katie and staff at reception couldn’t help me more , between bus timetables and helping get the large group I was with sorted in their rooms. I had to catch a bus and was reluctant to eat in the hotel as I didn’t know how long it would take. When I mentioned this to the lovely Michelle ( the real life Michelle from Derry) she was on a mission to ensure I was fed before my travels to Belfast. I managed to have three courses in 30 min and made it for the bus satisfied and smiling the whole way thinking of what a truly lovely girl Michelle was. She made the experience even more delightful. I have to say the salted caramel sauce for dessert was truly superb , I wouldn’t be one for desserts but this was to die for. Keep doing what your doing Ladies, your lifting spirits more than you realise .

What a lovely little BnB, Kieran was great craic, a fantastic host. My room (lovingly referred to as ”the cell” 🤣) was a single room, and fairly small - remember how old the townhouse is - but it was perfectly suitable for what I needed. En-suite shower room, tea and coffee, hairdryer and TV. Bed was very comfortable too! Had seen some previous guests moan about breakfast but I thought the breakfast was great. There was a great choice of cereals - think 6 or 8 different types - a choice of bread, spreads, yoghurt and fruit. All 3 mornings I was full up for so long, not eating again until like 3 or 4pm. Location is great too, literally on the Walls. Was easily walkable to all the main sites. Wouldn't hesitate to book here when I inevitably return to Derry in the future!

This is actually a BB, and the free parking lot is just on the side of the road. Open the house by yourself, the boss will email you the house number in advance, and then secretly pick up the key at the door. We just ran into the boss. He saw that we were bringing children. He said that the hotel’s policy does not allow children to be added. Children are counted as heads. Later, we were allowed to live. He said that this would not be the case in the future. He was still talkative and did not add any more. money. The bed in the room is relatively small, the toilet is relatively small, the standard English breakfast. Less than 10 minutes walk to the city center, not bad.

Both Thomas and his daughter Mary were the perfect hosts and made us both very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, really kind and lovely people. They even even had a facility to safely park our motorhome. Ample choice of items for breakfast freshly prepared which set us up for the day. The B&B is spotless with a lovely comfy bed and fluffy towels. Both Thomas and Mary shared interesting information about the history and gave us some good tips where to visit, eat and be entertained. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again THANKYOU Thomas and Mary. Not forgetting Daisy and Mary's beautiful baby

Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are clean excellent bed. Shower is an added bonus non slip floor and walk in. Room is air conditioned and black out curtains. So a good night's sleep assured. Breakfast is self device buffet will not be hungry afterwards. We liked the free tea and coffee you make yourself and can sit in rhe comfortable seats watch the world go by also have a bar. We were very pleased with this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending

The staff in this hotel is what makes it so welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for you, with a smile on their face and great humour. Katie and staff at reception couldn’t help me more , between bus timetables and helping get the large group I was with sorted in their rooms. I had to catch a bus and was reluctant to eat in the hotel as I didn’t know how long it would take. When I mentioned this to the lovely Michelle ( the real life Michelle from Derry) she was on a mission to ensure I was fed before my travels to Belfast. I managed to have three courses in 30 min and made it for the bus satisfied and smiling the whole way thinking of what a truly lovely girl Michelle was. She made the experience even more delightful. I have to say the salted caramel sauce for dessert was truly superb , I wouldn’t be one for desserts but this was to die for. Keep doing what your doing Ladies, your lifting spirits more than you realise .

What a lovely little BnB, Kieran was great craic, a fantastic host. My room (lovingly referred to as ”the cell” 🤣) was a single room, and fairly small - remember how old the townhouse is - but it was perfectly suitable for what I needed. En-suite shower room, tea and coffee, hairdryer and TV. Bed was very comfortable too! Had seen some previous guests moan about breakfast but I thought the breakfast was great. There was a great choice of cereals - think 6 or 8 different types - a choice of bread, spreads, yoghurt and fruit. All 3 mornings I was full up for so long, not eating again until like 3 or 4pm. Location is great too, literally on the Walls. Was easily walkable to all the main sites. Wouldn't hesitate to book here when I inevitably return to Derry in the future!

Stayed in this hotel which is within walking distance of all the main attractions. Peace bridge and walls need to be visited. Overnight parking available close by and bus stop just outside hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are clean excellent bed. Shower is an added bonus non slip floor and walk in. Room is air conditioned and black out curtains. Twin room was fine, but shower was small and the shower head could have done with a clean. Reception area and bar/restaurant was pleasant. I stayed here as part of a coach trip. I believe the hotel promised things they couldn’t deliver! Breakfast was buffet style and cold. Items ran out quickly but it took so long to top up, we just gave up. Evening meal wasn’t much better. Set menu with two choices and repetitive every night. It was quite tasty with mash potato, swede and carrots every evening. I requested chips one night and offered to pay. In the end the manager put a bowl of chips on each table - result. Service was appalling. One evening I had ate my chicken and mash before the vegetables arrived. Nearly 3 hours for our meal. People just kept leaving. Our driver spoke to the manager and reception to complain about the service and was assured it would be rectified - it wasn’t. Seems we were being treated like second class citizens because we were on a coach. People who were ordering off the Al a Carte menu were being served first. Not acceptable. I hope the coach company won’t use them again.

This is actually a BB, and the free parking lot is just on the side of the road. Open the house by yourself, the boss will email you the house number in advance, and then secretly pick up the key at the door. We just ran into the boss. He saw that we were bringing children. He said that the hotel’s policy does not allow children to be added. Children are counted as heads. Later, we were allowed to live. He said that this would not be the case in the future. He was still talkative and did not add any more. money. The bed in the room is relatively small, the toilet is relatively small, the standard English breakfast. Less than 10 minutes walk to the city center, not bad.

The hotel is a bit dated, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. A certain distance from the city center, suitable for self-driving, convenient parking. There is a Chinese restaurant by the seaside of the cathedral when driving fast. The price is not cheap, but it tastes good. There are Chinese waiters who can help with ordering.
