Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk staff were very friendly. Although this is my first time in China and I was unsure of check-in procedure, they quickly got me through check-in and made me feel quite relaxed almost immediately. During my stay, I ordered room service nearly every evening and although I speak no Chinese, the staff were very patient and helpful to make sure that they were receiving my order correctly. The view from the rooms is incredible and the service at the hotel has been great. I highly recommend that if you are visiting Changzhou for business or pleasure that you stay at the Marriot Hotel in Xinbei district. It is also very centrally located with easy access to entertainment, shopping malls, restaurants and the light rail stations to travel to other cities in China. Additionally, the restaurants, pool, outdoor basketball court, coffee shop, and other services in the hotel make it a convenient place to stay if it is your first time in China or Changzhou as it is mine. For work related reasons my trip in Changzhou was extended and I have enjoyed my stay at the Marriot hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay here and upgrade my room to include the executive lounge (totally worth it if you stay here, it's like having access to an Emirates level lounge with a view every day). In summary, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, and the services provided make your stay very convenient! I highly recommend staying at the Changzhou Marriot in Xinbei District during your time here!

Struggling to think of ways to improve this place. Great location near the old train station, Tianming Park and two metro stations. Professional staff, fast check-in. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around. The bathing spa on the 3rd floor was incredible. There’s also a gym and pool onsite. The rooms were beautifully designed with cool pyramid ceilings. Mattresses were soft and I think they bought the best pillows money can buy. Pretty strong dedicated wifi connections, 20+ mbps. Breakfast was ok. If I ever come back to Changzhou I’m staying here!

A special mention, however, must go to Chef Lu (卢大厨) for the really amazing breakfasts that both me, a European, and my partner, who is Shanghainese, both found delicious and delightful. Him and his team really are masters of both flavour and customer service, my partner especially agrees we cannot thank him and them enough, they have our trip a magnificent and memorable start to each day.

帶家裡人訂了兩間房，中午到酒店，説沒地方停車，讓自己去找外面的停車場，好的，我們去了對面的收費停車場，和前台説了下，怎麼住店的沒有停車位的，説是中午宴席客人太多，晚上就好了。ok，下午我們出去了，晚上一回來，保安説沒車位了，我説我們住酒店的，怎麼沒地方停車，居然説沒辦法，我繞了二十分鐘，收費停車費也沒有位置，在酒店找車位的期間，看見有兩三輛車進去了，所有心裏很窩火。這麼大的酒店，住店客人中午晚上沒有車位停，讓自己去找，酒店級別還有價格應該是比快捷酒店高吧，住個酒店被趕來趕去，心裏肯定不舒服，最起碼要預留幾個車位給住店客人，就算沒有了，那是不是協調下附近收費的停車場，雖然由於酒店沒有停車位我們自己在對面找的收費的車位那是不是酒店應該提一下費用問題呢，錢不多但是是一種服務的體現，因為本人也從事過外資連鎖酒店一些相關工作。細節決定成敗，當然了，酒店衞生等等，真的很不錯，生意也很好。不過第一次住好的酒店被趕來趕去，沒人過問，心裏很不舒服，有點花錢買罪受的感覺，實事求是吐個槽

There is also a strange thing, the baby's birthday, the hotel is very good at offering cakes, and the phone communicated that it can be delivered in the afternoon on the day of check-in, but it didn't come anyway.
