Its a pod. Ideal for solo. There are many workers when I arrived cleaning (quietly, discreetly and professionally), cleaning the toilets, showers, pods etc.... So the its super clean and fresh. I also had to get to Gambir Station to catcg a train. Tried hailling a transport from the roadside was quoted a higher tourist price. Got back to Bobobox, received help from Denny and Joe, who so kindly help called and arranged a transport for me at a fair price at peak hour 5:30pm. Joe, the Bobobox staff even accompanied me down to the street and waited for the transport to arrive and instructed the driver my destination and that I am going to take a train and needs to arrived at a specified time. Great location in the old town. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning reasonable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. I didn’t realise at booking that the window in my room overlooked the busy Main Street, so traffic noise kept me awake for most of the night. The breakfast situation needs to be clarified. On their website there was mention of a new menu and several photographs. When I booked my room through their own website, it was unclear as to whether or not it covered breakfast. On my first morning, there was food cooking on the stove, but no mention of breakfast so eventually, I asked at reception. I was told that I needed to order breakfast the night before. It would have been great to have been told this when I checked in! The food cooking on the stove appeared to be for the staff. Not really a hostel atmosphere.

Excellent... wifi runs smoothly... Note: never forget your cell phone in your room. Or running out of cell phone battery. guaranteed not to be able to enter the room. Enter the room using the application. no other way... unless you ask the front desk for help

It's beyond my expectations. I thought staying at pods gonna be boring and not really interesting. However, it's really great and also clean. It's completely technological room. For you guys if you wanna stay at least a night, it's gonna make you jaw-dropping with new experience. It's not only single beds but also you can choose double beds if you travel with friends or partner.

It's a nice place to stay, comfy, cozy there's a cafe downstairs, there's no welcoming drink such as water. Luckily there's an Indomaret right next to it & the wifi isn't working but overall it's good.

It's such a strategies and cleanest hotel, and the service is fast response. I recommend for who travel from other city or foreigners to calm and vibes on town city, cause the transportation area is easy too go everywhere

much better if the women's toilet (WC/ closet) is cleaned and the air conditioning in the room can be turned off. I will stay again because the staff is friendly and helpful

This is a clean and bright hostel. The beds are comfortable and the wifi is fast. The staff are adorable young people who all speak fantastic english and in one case dutch! very helpful supervisor who resolved my issue when i'd booked another night but on the wrong date. she swapped the date for me at no extra cost. so i stayed yet another night in return! there are good facilities, a small gym and a nice chill out room with widescreen tv and PlayStation. think beanbags and A/C - heaven! You are close to a load of street food vendors in the side alley otherwise it's a ten minute walk round the block to plenty of restaurants. a good place to start your stay in jakarta if you arrive at gambir. btw also close to national gallery (which is excellent) and the national museum - also great!!
