1. **Cleanliness:** The room was quite clean, basically spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. 2. **Environment:** The overall environment is excellent. There's a laundry room, and a separate restroom on the first floor that guests can use even after checking out. The location is also fantastic – just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, with a tram stop nearby. It's only a three or four stop ride to Flinders Street Station. 3. **Service:** The service was decent. I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, but basic English was sufficient. 4. **Facilities:** Everything else was great, except for the showerhead. The water pressure was very low, and it was a rainfall-style shower with a wide spray angle. For women under 180cm, it's hard to reach the water when it's initially strong, and by the time it reaches you, it's barely a drizzle. It made showering quite uncomfortable.

This hotel was a fantastic experience! They offer free airport pick-up and drop-off, and the front desk even has Chinese-speaking staff. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The bathroom has a heat lamp, which was great for showering – so warm and cozy! The restaurant's food was delicious. I didn't get to try breakfast because of my flight, but I had dinner on the day I checked in, and it was really good. The surrounding area is also very nice. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this hotel! Also, Trip.com's service is truly excellent; they helped me contact the hotel for airport pick-up. It's so convenient to book hotels through Trip.com.

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross Station and 3 minutes from the day tour meeting point. You can get to the airport directly from Southern Cross Station via SkyBus in half an hour. Major city center attractions are all within reasonable walking distance. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and convenience stores too. I highly recommend the Malaysian restaurant in the first alley on your left when you exit – it might be the best food I've had, super cheap, generous portions, and a wide variety. Trust me, go try it! The shared bathrooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained, with the restrooms being cleaned multiple times daily. Electronic key card access is required for every door, making it very secure. The only suggestions are that the bed sheets are a bit old and pilled, and the metal bunk bed shakes a bit. There was construction nearby at night, but that's not the hotel's fault. Everything else was great, highly recommended!

The location is great, just a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross Station, making it super convenient for getting around and finding plenty of food options. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided detailed explanations. I loved the app-based room key system. The lobby has lots of power outlets, and the first-floor lounge area is spacious, plus there are independent lounge areas on each floor. The room itself was quite large and had bedside lamps. On the third floor, the men's restroom has two individual shower stalls, and there are more on the second floor. The kitchen has 8 gas burners, which can get quite crowded during meal times. The free breakfast was simple, but they did offer almond milk. On the downside, the bathroom felt a bit humid, there were no privacy curtains on the bed, and there weren't many hooks in the room.

The service is very good and the location is nearby Ballarat Station. It takes about 20 walks to Sovereign Hill. And there are too many restaurants next to there, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant .

My husband was so happy to stay for one night. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The place was quite clean. The place is recommendable

* Location: Near Queen Victoria Market, a bit far from the city center. * Cleanliness: Individual bathrooms in each room, so it's clean unless you get a troublesome neighbor. * Kitchen: Good facilities, no lingering smells after cooking (Minor drawback: a few fewer bowl-type dishes). * Bed: Excellent privacy, comfortable mattress (guaranteed good sleep). * LG appliances, kitchen/laundry room, and dining area all available. * Kitchen closes from 3-4 PM and from 10 PM onwards. * Level 1 might be a bit noisy. * Luggage storage is paid. Overall, despite the slightly inconvenient location, it's clean and a good place to stay.

staff were very friendly and accomodating. a few small maintenance issues could be attending to ie toilet paper holder loose and the shampoo bottle was empty the whole time during our stay. not a big deal. handy being close to Kardinia Park and can walk to geelong central.

Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!
