"From the moment we walked in we knew we made a good decision. The owner (or manager) made us feel at home, and we felt welcome.
This is a wonderful hotel, a budget rate for a good mid-range. The rooms are good size and comfortable, and very aesthetic, with a lot of thought put in. In fact, the whole hotel, especially the kitchen and eating area, is a small museum, with some really interesting items.
The location can't be better, 15-20 minutes from both the Registan and the bazaar. The neighborhood (the old Jewish area) is quiet, with a decent grocery store nearby.
All in all a very good opinion, which we highly recommend."

До рынка и главных достопримечательностей 15 минут пешком . В свободном доступе микроволновка и стиральная машина . В номерах есть ВСЕ для комфортного проживания ! Если буду в Самарканде ещё раз , обязательно остановлюсь там же.
Позже заселились в отель в Бухаре классом выше . И скучали по отелю в Самарканде . Он был простой снаружи ,нет собственной территории и ресепшен , но номера сделаны для людей. Хозяева добрые , отзывчивые и гостеприимные. 100 из 10 ! Спасибо , за то , что вы делаете !"

"The hotel contacted us to ask about our needs and said we'd be arriving at night, but upon arrival they took a VERY long time to get the door open. The receptionist wasn't there, so a security guard checked us in. The bathroom was very small, the bed was large, completely out of proportion for such a small room, so there were no nightstands. The pillows were very hard and high, making it easier to sleep without them, but the bed linen itself was good. There was only a mirror in the bathroom. Whole-bean coffee for breakfast was extra. There were very few vegetables."

中庭が気持ちよく、テラスの席で風を感じる。朝食は個別にサーブされる。果物を結構盛ってくれる。
室内は廊下で靴を脱ぐ。4泊したが3日目に掃除とタオル類の取り替えがあった。
部屋には歯ブラシはあるがコップがない。
冷房の効きも良い。シャワールーム、適温水流良し。
帰路チェックアウトしオーナーの手配した車で鉄道駅まで無料で送ってもらう。
宿のオーナー、長男はフレンドリーで英語でいろいろ話しかけてくれる。"

"Атмосферный гостевой дом. Хозяева очень доброжелательные и гостеприимные. Я не согласовывала время приезда, несмотря на это неудобство, нас заселили раньше положенного времени.
Хорошее расположение гостевого дома - достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Тихо в номере, тепло и хороший напор горячей воды.
Завтраки очень вкусные, разнообразные, сытные и близкие нашей кухне.
В теплый сезон должно быть очень душевно, уверена в этом (внутренний зелёный дворик, где гуляет нежный котик)."

LL.C123The guesthouse is located in the old town. The roads are quite narrow, and some sections are currently under construction with engineering vehicles. Although there are alternative routes to reach the entrance, some drivers might not be familiar with them. If you return to the guesthouse too late, drivers might be reluctant to drive all the way in because the path is too dark and difficult to navigate, so you may need to walk a short distance yourself.
The room is simple but very spacious. Please note that toiletries and an electric kettle are not provided (though you can boil water in the kitchen), and you will also need to prepare your own bottled water. Fortunately, there is a small convenience store right next door where you can buy these items. During my stay, it rained one day and there was a brief power outage, but electricity was restored very quickly.
The host is wonderful and speaks fluent English. Upon check-in, he gave me a map and briefly explained the locations of key attractions and some restaurants. When I checked out, he even helped me with my luggage and called a taxi for me. If you have any questions, he will always answer them patiently.
The guesthouse is about a 15-minute walk from Registan. There are more restaurants around the Bibi-Khanym Mosque area, where you can also find a tourist information center that helps mail postcards.
If you don’t demand the facilities of a brand-name hotel, the overall experience is very good.

GGuest UserThe hostel is located in the Old Town, which is convenient as the bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away. However, it's situated in a small alley, and there's a stretch of road without streetlights when returning from the main square, which felt a bit unsafe at night.
The owner was always helpful in solving various issues, for example, when I wanted to boil a couple of eggs in the morning.
There's a water dispenser available in the common area, which is handy.
The day before I checked in, guests reported no hot water, initially thinking it was due to late-night usage. The next day, it was still cold. When asked, the owner said a circuit breaker had tripped. Once fixed, the water was very hot, so it's important to report any problems promptly.
It was advertised as a 4-bed dorm, but it was actually a 5-bed dorm, which was quite a surprise. The owner claimed it couldn't be changed on the platform, a reason I found hard to accept. Even if the main listing couldn't be altered, they could have added a note in the remarks section. Otherwise, it feels like deception, especially for a 'non-refundable' booking where no money is returned. This was the case for both the female and male dorms.
With many guests staying, the cleanliness of the common areas struggled to keep up.
Also, I didn't seem to find any lockable personal lockers.
The owner, who uses a wheelchair, runs this hostel, which is commendable, and the price is good. However, the issues mentioned above do exist. Luckily, I only stayed for one night as a stopover.

EedyzI’m sorry I really wanted to give you guys a good rating. The hosts are very friendly and nice, location is good BUT.
1. You advertise yourself as Free WiFi zone in your signage but your WiFi doesn’t work. You said you will fix it but you didn’t.
2. Because of this I used up all my data and at 4am in the morning I had to go to the lobby to get an emergency eSIM.
3. The shower is ridiculously tiny and the angle is so high only a person who is 1.8m or higher can shower properly. The hot water is so sensitive it is either cold or scalding hot.
4. In the morning there was a dripping sound on top of my room that woke me up. It sounded like someone knocking from 4am for 3 hours straight.
5. My room did not have toilet tissues and I had to request for it.
It’s a great location and the lobby looks nice. But it’s the whole experience people need for a good stay. It will take a lot of work and investment but this hotel can be a great hotel if the owners are willing to properly fix it up. Not just cosmetically. Good luck

HHami NguyenThis guest house is a wonderful budget-friendly option in Samarkand. It’s conveniently located near the city center, only about 2 km from Registan Square and other major attractions, making it very easy to get around. The room rates are affordable, with options for 2 or 4 guests, which is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The host is incredibly kind, gentle, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast prepared by the family — generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of dishes each morning.
For easier navigation or when booking a taxi, it’s best to search for “Bilol Hotel” on Google Maps.
Wishing this lovely guest house continued success and many more happy guests in the future!

GGourav BoraWe had a great experience. Host is very friendly and considerate. The host went out of the way to arrange vegetarian food for us. Its a little away from centre but easily accessible via taxis which is very cheap. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is a big courtyard with trees. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lot. No complaints. Their home made jam is just awesome.

GGuest UserA very good hotel! The room was clean and cozy, with pristine white linens. We were a party of three and had three beds in the room, along with a TV, fridge, and air conditioning. The owner was incredibly hospitable and kind. The location is convenient, with most places just a 10-minute taxi ride away. We used Yandex Taxi, which was very cheap at only 100-200 rubles.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse offers good service at a reasonable price, with more advantages than disadvantages:
Advantages: The staff at the front desk were patient and enthusiastic, spoke fluent English, and provided electronic stay vouchers. Overall, the service was excellent. They even folded and hung up our clothes neatly while cleaning the room. We mentioned a problem with the shower drain and towel replacement on our second day, and it was resolved immediately. Breakfast was served in the courtyard; the oatmeal porridge and pumpkin dumplings were delicious, and there was a variety of fruits—not large, but with a good selection.
Disadvantages: The location is slightly out of the way, in what feels like an urban village (?). Taxis had to navigate through dark alleys, and there didn't seem to be any shops nearby. Another issue was that while the courtyard was relatively quiet, the soundproofing in the rooms was poor. Two nights we heard loud music playing from a neighboring wedding celebration (?) late at night, which was really noisy.

ユユキエミタI couldn't meet the owner unless I called at the entrance, but he will rushed to me immediately. Very nice person. The courtyard is nice. The bathroom is large. It takes time to get hot water, but I took a warm shower. The atmosphere was very good so I want to stay again. And the location is great. It is very convenient because you can go within walking distance such as Registan Square.
