Very good guesthouse. We came 4 families of 9 people. Stayed 9 days. Breakfast and dinner included. We went to a cafe for lunch. All is well in terms of food. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, banana pancakes, toast, tuna sandwiches. For breakfast and dinner there were always fruits (papaya, watermelon, oranges, pineapples) and fresh juices (from papaya, watermelon, orange). For dinner, grilled fish or chicken, rice, curry, pasta with tuna, vegetable salad. There was more than enough food. Tea, coffee, milk, fresh water are always available. The room is good with a great view of the courtyard, the air conditioner is well located so it doesn’t blow, a refrigerator, tea, sugar and a kettle, mugs, drinking water was updated every day in a bottle. The bed is large (three people can easily fit on a double bed). Every day they cleaned the room (they made the bed, swept, renewed the water and tea with sugar). Beach towels and two shower towels are available. Hot water always! Stable internet. There is a mini balcony for drying clothes in the room and a veranda with chairs and a table. You can also borrow a mask, snorkel and fins for free. Very cozy and comfortable guesthouse. All liked it. No cons found. There are grocery stores in the area. Convenient location in the center of the island. Approximately 10 minutes walk to each beach. On the beaches there are sun loungers, hammocks, showers and toilets. Also on the beaches there are tents with fruits and fresh juices. There is a Russian-speaking diving center on the island. One dive per person $80 with video $100. We liked the rest very much. Friendly and sociable host staff. They can also book a transfer to Male for $35 per person. Meet and escort to the port by car.

The Maldives vacation was wonderful! Excellent Origami Inn Guest House, excellent location near the beautiful bikini beach, cleanliness, delicious breakfasts and dinners. Excellent and responsive attitude of the staff and the owner. The owners of the hotel are a family, very nice, kind, friendly and hospitable people who speak English well. They helped me in everything, met me, saw me off - just wonderful people. Aziz solved any questions and requests. Aziz organized interesting excursions to another island for us and took us diving with turtles himself. It's like we're visiting a friend! We will be happy to come next time and advise our friends! Thank you very much!!!

Ostrov Hotel is a really nice hotel in Ukulhas. From the beginning, the manager was really helpful organizing my transfer from Male with a speedboat. My room was large, with wooden floor, a huge bathroom and a lovely patio (it saved my life during a few rainy days!). The room was cleaned daily. Considering the price I paid, it was really value for money. Moreover, breakfast was complimentary with my booking which included a large buffet with eggs, cakes, fruits, bread, jam, milk and cereals. I really loved it! The restaurant of the hotel is very good too: I really liked the tuna rice and the grilled fish which I highly recommend! Finally, the guys at the hotel are very nice and friendly, which made my trip even better!

We are just back from a fantastic week in Rasdhoo where we lodged at Club Gabbiano. I really wish I could give a higher mark to this hotel because in the end we had such a good time, but there are some things that I really have to mention for the other fellow travellers. HIGHS The location is the best on the island, hands down: right on the beach. The two best rooms (601 and 701) as well as the restaurant/breakfast room on the terrace have amazing views of the bikini beach.Our room was very big with a lovely balcony with bean bags to lounge on, we used it every day, it was really worth the little extra price! Iti is very basic, way more basic than it looked in the pictures but I have no complaints at all (you also get a water boiler, plenty of instant coffee and a fridge and filtered water every day). Airco is temperamental but it worked fine for us. The beds are super comfortable, lovely soft sheets and nice pillows so sleep quality was amazing. They give you plenty of shower and beach towels, all you have to do is ask (mindful of the environment of course, but they will not skimp on giving you fresh ones at all!). The staff of the hotel was super attentive. I didn't catch any names but: The person who manages the whataspp chat: whatever we asked to organize or clarify he was always promptly answering, always kind with a solution even when we kept changing our mind, really really great service (if you need anything also for the booking or the speedboat, don't email just whatsapp!). I had no idea if WE actually met this guy at the hotel (we jokingly called him ”the chatbot” :-)) but HE was great. Also the other guys at the hotel (sorry I didn't catch any names) the one organising the excursiones (which we called ”the artist” because he painted all the colorful drawings around the hotel and beach restaurant and was playing the guitar in the lobby) and the guy minding the reception (called ”the guy with the ponytail”) were super kind and amazing to deal with. Thanks guys, you really bumped the rating up! LOWS The hotel simply does not look like the pictures: apparently the structure was built in 2019 and considering that it should have been empty for quite a long time during the pandemic, it looks like it has been hit by a hurricane. The place is really not well maintained. It looked shabby and ran down. The reception was messy and unkempt, the common areas barely kept together. Building on a tiny island is not easy (and we have been to other local islands as well so we have comparisons) but this hotel has either been built in a rush or not mended at all. It is ok for a little hotel in a local island to look simple but this was beyond it: it was not cared for. The open bathrooms are a disaster: they do not look exotic just shabby. The idea was good but the execution is not ok. Our shower didn't drain properly so the entire bathroom floor was constantly soggy and swampy. Excellent welcome, service and cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and well cared for. The breakfast is plentiful and very good. We contacted the property via WhatsApp (+960 7 764022) to organize the transfer from the airport, without any problem. Thoddo allows you to live a real experience with the locals, in a context of wonderful sea and beaches.

This is a very nice island, the environment is very beautiful, the scenery is very beautiful, the hotel staff is very warm and friendly, recommend everyone to come and play!

The island is small, but the location is good. The visitor's beach is very close and is perfect for supermarkets and restaurants. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was there when I wanted it. It is great to accept Sandbank when needed. However, when I booked the speedboat from the airport to the accommodation, I was very annoyed because I had to be anxious for an hour because I did not pick up the airport or contact me. There is no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, so you need to bring all toiletries and no hair dryer. Because the foreign matter on the bedding is very clean, it is very wet And when checking in, I felt a little forced to visit. The owner of the hotel is friendly but very helpful.
