WOW !! We were absolutely blown away by this amazing Hotel. We couldn't believe that everything looks just as good in real life as you see in the photos. We booked the room which we believe looks the best and has the best view (located on the top floor) and were so happy we chose it. Staying here was such an amazing and unique experience that we can't wait to stay here again for our next trip to China. Here are the highlights of our time here: 1) As mentioned before, our suite has 100% the best views of any Hotel in Yangshuo. It really does have a 270 Degree view and you can also see the sky thanks to partial glass roof. 2) The whole area is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a getaway from the busy life in the city 3) The Hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful, ready to assist you with any request at any hour. One of the best customer service experiences we ever had! 4) The entire building and our room was very well maintained and clean 5) There is also a lovely swimming pool which we did not have the chance to use but it looks very nice 6) The location is simply perfect for what we wanted. And considering how cheap the taxis are (less than 10 Yuan to get to the city centre) it's well worth staying here. You can also walk for about 20 minutes to get in the city. 7) Although it is not technically a full service hotel, we really appreciated all the services provided, especially the daily housekeeping when they replaced our towels, etc 8) The video projector is a nice touch, and so is the HUGE bathtub which can probably fit 4 adults 9) As Westerners we also really appreciated the electronic / japanese-style toilet with automated flushing and all the functions 10) The air conditioner is surprisingly powerful and can easily keep up with very hot weather even if you open all the curtains Things worth noting: 1) The mattress was a bit firm for us and the pillows a bit too thin for our liking 2) The projector is set up for Chinese users and, unless you cast from your phone or mirror the screen, you won't have much luck 3) The bathtub would have been even better if it were jetted (like a jacuzzi), but this is not really an issue Overall this is certainly one of the best hotels you can choose in Yangshuo and we can 100% recommend staying here.

The place was very clean and organized, with a stunning decoration that combined old Chinese style with a modern twist. The staff were incredibly welcoming and could speak English, making my stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect, close to all the major tourist sites. The bed was very comfy, and the air conditioning worked great, which was a relief after a day of exploring. I will 100% be booking this hotel again the next time I come to Guilin. Highly recommended!

Really cute and nice hotel! You get a free coffee voucher for their cafe next door and the outdoor area is nice to grab a coffee and look at the river. The coffee prices are good. The rooms looks like the pictures. Groceries and restaurants in all price ranges are close to the hotel and the food is great. Tell them to point out the famous beef noodle place 5 minutes away it is the best! For breakfast or lunch 😊

We have a great stay. The hotel was set up to provide the best experience for a family who wants to enjoy the beautiful Yangshuo area. On the first floor, you have a gorgeous lobby and a play area for the children. To accommodate the wondering minds of the kids, the hotel provided multiple acres of lawn for the kids to run around and enjoy. Then there are the bunnies. They are cute and their enclosure is cleaned daily. The room we had had a ball pit and an indoor tent for my girls to play in and they put them into good use for sure. On the fourth floor is the laundry. You will only see washers but they have the hanging type driers to dry your clothes in addition to normal hangers. The top floor features a small restaurant with a spectacular view of the Yulong River and Karst features behind it. The food is good and easily tastier than most of the street side restaurants out there and features dishes common and famous to the area, we had the beer fish and the stir fried mushrooms. It was savory and priced well below what they charge on West Street. On our third day, we went out and rented electric scooters around the river and for 35km we went around the hills and through villages. The hotel staff, 小张&小麦, welcomed us with warm smiles and drove us to west street for some dinner and shopping. What an awesome trip, this hotel was an highlight!

Very nice place. Hotel was clean no issues. Very nice view from my hotel room and also nearby the Reed Flute Cave so you can just go to the place whenever. It should only take you like an hour to explore the cave. I personally took 2 hours since I spent a lot of time taking pictures. More importantly, the receptionist is very hospitable. I had nothing booked and planned and she helped me out with booking everything needed.

The location was great and the room is very spacious. The free breakfast is also great. However, you can feel the metal in the mattress so the bed is uncomfortable and the heater doesn’t work properly. It was cold when we stayed, so the staff came up to check and told us they had put it in the correct mode, but we had it at 30 degrees all night and the room was still cold.

There are many beautiful and photogenic B&Bs in Yangshuo, but many of them are only suitable for taking photos, not for sleeping and resting. This B&B is very friendly to people with light sleep, with great light and sound insulation, and the villa area is very quiet. The overall environment is still very good. The breakfast is simple, but not expensive, and a portion of rice noodles is enough to fill you up. Disadvantages: 1. It is in the villa area, and there is a big slope when entering. You really have to take a taxi in and out, but fortunately it is convenient to take a taxi. 2. There is no elevator. If you are on the second floor, it is very tiring to move luggage. 3. The mirror in the bathroom suddenly lit up on the night of check-in, for unknown reasons. 4. You must wear slippers in the bathroom. The gaps on the ground may hurt your feet, especially children.

The surrounding Sun and Moon Twin Towers and Two Rivers and Four Lakes are the iconic attractions of Guilin, which can be reached on foot. Whether it is to enjoy the lake and mountains during the day or to watch the bright lights at night, it can be easily achieved, adding countless wonderful moments to this trip. After half a month of self-driving, the most satisfactory famous hotel First of all, the environment: the boss is very attentive, every detail is done, and the mousse mattress is awesome. And there are many check-in points, you can take a lot of beautiful photos in the hotel. And there is a mountain opposite, and you can see the sunset on the 7th floor (because it was cloudy when we stayed, so we didn't see it much). Very photogenic. I usually do not write reviews but this experience has exceeded my expectations in every way that I want to share my experience. The hotel is very conveniently located close to all the main attractions - very easy to get around, no problem. Because we came during the off season, the owner of the hotel offered to drive us to a nearby market to buy some kumquats (famous in Yangshuo and delicious) and watch a beautiful section of the Yulong river that not many tourists know about. They also helped us buy tickets to watch a show at Romance Park and to Ruyi peak. This hotel was newly opened this summer so needless to say, everything is very clean and well organized. It’s a tech smart hotel meaning the amenities are very advanced. The toilet and the shower can be a bit confusing when you first use them (there are so mnay buttons!) but it’s very easy once you figure them out. We also saw a corner in the lobby for the little kids to play, which can be a good addition to young families. There are great outside sitting areas as well (including the rooftop), which would be wonderful for barbeques and activities during summer and bike rentals if you’re interested. Breakfast is simple, delicious, and fulfilling. It’s more of the Chinese style spread, and you even get to try out the famous Guilin mifen (noodles). I looked at so many hotels and read so many reviews because I wanted to make sure my parents had a comfortable, enjoyable stay (first time visiting China). I’m so glad I chose this one in the end. Every positive review that people said about this hotel is true. It’s a family run hotel, and everyone working there is so welcoming and nice. I would definitely come back when I visit Yangshuo again. My parents were so happy and satisfied with their stay. I would give them more stars and smiley faces if I could! Highly, highly recommended!!!

Pros: - good location in the heart of the xinping tourist street amidst preserved shophouses etc. - quiet and peaceful, well managed by the team - nice amenities and toiletries provided - room is clean tidy and well designed - water pressure of shower was amazing - cute dog and cats on site. Friendly and don’t make a commotion. - lady boss is helpful and ready with advice etc Cons: - view wasn’t greater & not like the pictures online.There was a giant white rectangle block of hotel(?) in the middle of our window view. - wifi is non-existent at our top floor room - breakfast was western style with congee. While not bad tasting, was average and frankly disappointing. Chinese breakfast would have been nice.

The boss and his wife are both free-spirited people! They run the Youth Hostel B&B very carefully! The bedding in the room is very clean and white! The mattress and pillow are very comfortable! I had a good sleep! It's just that there were few people when I came, so I didn't feel the lively atmosphere with my friends! I will have a chance to visit again in the future!

Advice to foreign travellers: contact the hotel if you’re ever lost! They are more than happy to help. We didnt learn that until we realized we were on the wrong bus and took a longer route which made our travel to Longji a bit more stressful than needed. Once arrived, the rooms are very clean, the view is beautiful and locals are very nice. Just remember to not be shy! The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the area was nicely located. The view was so good we didn’t feel like we needed to leave the area at all during our stay. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or return! Thanks again

This family run hotel is the best! The room had a small patio, and nice views. Very easy to go hiking from this location. The food is amazing. We ate even meal here, and it was without a doubt the best food we had on our entire vacation. The owners are super friendly and helpful.

Facilities: The decoration is warm and exquisite, the toilet is fully automatic, the water flow is very strong, the water temperature changes quickly, there is free coffee every day, folk costumes can also be borrowed for free for taking photos, and you will be sent to the parking lot when you go to the observation deck.
