Kangding Homestays

Hostel is at a 5min walk from the busstation which is very conventient. It is quite a walk from there to the center of the city though. It was a bit difficult to find as the entrance is at the entrance of a different hotel and you have to go to the upper floor to enter the hostel. Female dormroom is quite small and there is almost no space to leave your luggage. The bedsheets weren't clean, and clearly used before. Plenty of toilets and showers available, which were quite clean. The family who runs the hostel is very kind but they don't seem to know much about activities such as hiking in the area. Wifi available in the common area. Okay for one or two nights.

This B&B is located in an urban village in Kangding. The surrounding environment is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable, making people stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I chose a cozy room that was decorated like home and made me feel very comfortable. I enjoyed excellent service throughout the entire process from booking to check-out. I will come back next time.

The room is Tibetan style, with a natural smell of wood. The room is large, the scenery outside the window is beautiful, the yard is large and convenient for parking, and there are charging stations. If you are traveling by car, it is more convenient to eat nearby, right in Xinduqiao Town. Of course, the National Day house prices are also very touching. The only thing is that the breakfast is too simple and does not match the room price at all. There is nothing I can do about it, it’s a big mistake to travel on National Day. I like that the B&B has an oxygen concentrator that can be rented, and the price is much more beautiful than Mount Siguniang. It completely saved me and my trip from high fever.

The view of the homestay is good, the room decoration is very good, the facilities are relatively complete, the big bed room is booked, there is no TV in the room, it has nothing to do with it, the room is not very soundproof, the sound of the upstairs and the next door can be heard, the hot water for washing is an electric water heater, The hot water is not enough for two people to take a shower and wash their hair. Overall is good!

Although the service attitude of the boss is very good, I still have to say that this is the worst place to sleep in Xiaohuan in Western Sichuan, because this B&B is right on the edge of the national highway, 0 distance away! Downstairs, heavy trucks drove past one after another all night long. The roar of their engines and the sound of horns from time to time kept them awake all night. The windows of the B&B are single-layer glass and wooden windows with large gaps and no sound insulation at all. After a day of traveling and being unable to sleep at night, think about what it feels like!

On the first day I came to the plateau, I found this homestay on the Internet. The young lady who stayed there was very enthusiastic and helped us check in. The room was very airy, with floor heating and a pool. Because I didn’t dare to take a bath on the plateau on the first day, but the water was very hot and comfortable. I spent a couple of nights there and it was really good. I have stayed at other hotel in the region and this one is definitely better. They speak a little bit english so it was easy for me to communicate as my chinese is not very good. It's located really close to the entrance to ZimeiPass(ZimeiYakou) and there is a small local shop selling basic stuff 3min walk away. More convenient than Yulongxi! The staff helped me to locate myself in the region and gave good advices on direction and on what. to explore. The hotel ambiance is cozy and have good vibes. There is definitely good energy here. Wifi is fast, rooms are clean, beds are comfy and. warm. One great thing was the food because it's really hard to find good food in the region and their food is good! The staff is super nice too. The owner lives here and she made sure my stay was great. Full of good memories. 谢谢你
