I was looking for a homestay where I can climb mountains and soak in hot springs. I searched online for a long time. I found this one. I read the reviews with mixed reviews. I was actually apprehensive before checking in. However, the truth is that there are always surprises. The B&B occupies a large area nearby. The entrance is a spacious courtyard, and the interior decoration is quite artistic. It used to be a root carving art gallery, which was later transferred to the locals as a B&B. The owner has another business, and the homestay is just a sideline. But the decoration materials are all branded products, the room layout is spacious and reasonable, TOTO bathroom, smart toilet, and chandeliers are also very design. In particular, the store turned on the floor heating + air conditioner in advance to make the check-in experience more warm. There are mahjong rooms, calligraphy experience, trampoline, swimming pool and hot spring outside. The hot spring is surrounded by glass on three sides, heated by mountain spring water, surrounded by stones, and built with a pergola, there is still a sense of a**osphere. But when we went, the temperature was too low and the water temperature was not hot enough, so we didn't go down to experience it. The hotel has a lot of room types to choose from. The room facing the back mountain has a particularly beautiful view. The room facing the street is soundproofed with soundproof glass, so that I, a poor sleeper, can sleep peacefully. If you want to talk about the shortcomings of this restaurant, the breakfast is too simple, almost the same every day, with 7-8 varieties, but you can still eat enough without demanding. There is a fixed menu for dinner, which needs to be booked in advance. The food is delicious and the price is slightly higher. There is a rafting spot near the homestay. It is said that it is very popular in summer, and there is also a route to climb Dragon King Mountain. Equipment is needed to go up the mountain in this season. If you want to take a walk, there is also a mountain road behind the homestay. Climbing in the morning, you can enjoy a mountain forest to yourself, the sunlight penetrates the swaying green bamboos, the ice hanging from the rocks on one side of the mountain road, and the jumping spring water on the other side, the scenery is pleasant. In short, we have experienced the dynamic ink landscape in rainy days, the blue sky, white clouds and green bamboo in sunny days, and the flying snowflakes and icicles in snowy days. Although the price is higher during the Spring Festival, it is definitely worth it!

It’s the fourth time I’ve come to Qiyun, and it already feels like going home. The room is still cloudy and foggy. The family of four lives comfortably. The food cooked by the chef brother is delicious. The new year's bonfire is very warm.

We stayed here for 3 nights / 4 days after reading very positive reviews. We were upgraded to Building 2 which is the nicer building. Building 1 is across the road. We had the room next to the reception building. Was a nice room with bathtub but the water was warm. We changed into a bigger room in Building 2 and was amazing. The ayi brings your breakfast to your room each morning. Noodles (was delicious), eggs, dough sticks, veggie pancakes, fruits. It differs each morning. Clean bed with nice duvet and pillows. Kettle in the room. We were the only ones staying there so no ambience or people around. There is no floor heating either but the aircon works with heating. You can’t eat here. Only breakfast but there is a great restaurant called Old Dad and is very good about 200m. Overall, it’s a good place to relax. We bought our 2 dogs with us and no problems - there are small home trails as well nearby. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.

The environment is OK, the service is also thoughtful, the main restaurant tastes good, good reviews, but the store has a dog that is a bit fierce, almost biting my family, it's quite scary, the staff just yelled at the dog (it's not small) to go away, and did not apologize, suggestions for improvement

The hotel is located in a small village at the heart of the bamboo forest, which offers stunning views on the surrounding mountains and tea fields. The rooms are nicely decorated and pretty well equipped. The personal is very kind and try to be helpful. That being said, our stay was not as good as we had expected because the bedroom and the restaurant were freezing cold. When we first arrived in our room the heating was off so we had to turn it on, which was fine, however 5h later it was still only 17°c in the room and it was already getting dark… We complained and the staff kindly offered to upgrade us to a room which was supposed to be warmer and it was, but only by one or two degrees depending on the hour of the day. The restaurant was only 10°c so we had to eat with jackets and hats on. The floor heating had not been turned on yet unfortunately. So if you consider staying at this hostel during Autumn/Winter make sure to ask if the floor heating is on before booking.

Stayed for one night ~ the Dragon Boat Festival, the price is 1700 a night. The overall environment and decoration of the homestay are more Zen-like. There is a swimming pool and hot springs outside. Friends who like to soak in hot springs all year round should pay attention to it. You must confirm with the housekeeper in advance that the hot springs may not be open when it is too hot. But the room we booked also has a bathtub, so it doesn't matter. It is worth mentioning that this hotel is more suitable for family travel. There are KTV and billiards in the ba*****t, and there is also an outdoor lawn for events. There is also an open-air cafe and bar on the third floor, which is suitable for group building and parent-child activities. If you are traveling like the two of us and need a room with a quiet environment, you can discuss it with the housekeeper in advance. The housekeeper is very warm and friendly. The most important thing to thank is the proprietress, because we couldn't get a taxi to Yunshang Grassland that day, the proprietress picked us up and down for us. Special thanks to her for her warmth and help in making our trip smoother. I also had the opportunity to chat with the proprietress for a while. The proprietress is very talkative and humorous. I learned that the water used in the homestay is from a self-dug well, and the water quality is guaranteed. The supporting facilities of the homestay are also for their own use, so they purchase all high-quality brand products. I chose this place temporarily during my trip. I had a great experience unexpectedly. The scenery on the way up the mountain is super beautiful. Jiangnan Tianchi has level 6 negative oxygen ions and the air quality is very good. It’s very leisurely to live here. I stroll around, wash my lungs by myself, and play cards. Very happy~ The accommodation package I chose included breakfast and a dinner. The dinner was delicious. I recommend the chicken soup. The room is a complex and is in principle suitable for 4 people, but there is only one toilet. If the weather is good, you can see stars at night. The service is also good. There is a butler here who will assist you if you have any questions. Before leaving, we were given small gifts, which made the elders in the family very satisfied.
