Reception was a bit cold. Emailed them we’re celebrating our wedding anniversary and requested a surprise room set up for my husband yet the manager does not read email on time as they knocked on the door at 6pm to offer the “surprise”. Bathroom toiletries are ill equipped— for the price of the room I don’t want to be asking room services for lotion or earbuds! Booked a celebratory dinner at Dip, their open wines are past their acceptable rate, we requested to open a fresh bottle. Surprised to see them return the “expired ones” back on shelf after using an “oxy vacuum machine”. Sad. Our server is very good and polite, a snappy young man (sorry forgot his name). Thank you dong, you’re really attentive. Food: Beef cheek was good, but not the Wagyu beef, it has a lot of inedible parts— disappointing for the price. The side dishes were good. Breakfast is an okay spread.

I had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Plaza Hotel Cebu. The location is excellent, especially because it is just a short walk to Ayala Center, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I also enjoyed the swimming pool and the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist whenever I needed something. What I appreciate most is the combination of comfort, convenience, and good value for money. It feels like a hotel I can comfortably come back to whenever I’m in Cebu.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Mactan and were very happy with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Mactan Newtown, where there are plenty of food options, restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a simple cake for us, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little touch that made the celebration more special. Another great thing is that guests can enjoy access to the pool and beach in Mactan Newtown, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

The design is quite good, but the renovation seems a bit shoddy. The wardrobe door couldn't close completely, letting light in all night. The night light had a really odd color. For the buffet breakfast on weekends, you'd have to queue if you went late. The food covered all of Asia, which was interesting.

The Hotel and staff did really well during the Sinulog festival! They organised workshop and provided gifts and souvenirs. It is also very close to one of the main festival areas. The only disappointment was the kaldereta we ordered from the kitchen which was ridiculously small amount (1 piece of meat). However there are many restaurants nearby. Hairdryer needs extra payment of 100 peso per night.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and well taken care of. Everything was well maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I also appreciated how clean the bathroom and other areas of the room were. You can really tell that the hotel puts effort into maintaining a good standard of cleanliness. The location was also convenient, making it easy for us to get around and access nearby places. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the overall service. Sometimes a hotel can have beautiful rooms, but it’s the staff and the little details that really make the experience memorable. Here, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Any questions or requests we had were handled politely and efficiently. Overall, I’m very happy with our stay and would definitely consider coming back again. It was a comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and great service. One for the books! Everything is impeccably done from the service to the food! Earl who assisted us with our check in and check out was brilliant, helpful and professional. We are very delighted with our stay and we look forward to staying in Nustar hotel again.

The best stay we had was at this resort in Cebu,we booked a villa and it was absolutely amazing experience. We had private room for our breakfast and had special cocktail and canapes which was amazing .The restaurant food was also so good.The in room breakfast Setup was done well ,all services in the villa was excellent . Resort is beautiful and very peaceful aswell.The spa treatment was excellent. Service for drop of to the airport was so convenient aswell. The staff are so lovely, friendly and so helpful.This place is a dream will definitely would love to come back and stay again.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

I stayed at Bluewater Maribago during my trip to Cebu! From the moment I arrived, I felt the resort vibe instantly, thanks to the hotel's expansive grounds and abundant greenery 🌴✨. The staff were all incredibly kind and their smiling service left a lasting impression. The room was clean, and with multiple pools, there's plenty to enjoy within the hotel itself. I particularly enjoyed relaxing at the private beach and the pools. The location was also convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it easy to venture outside the hotel. While the hotel restaurants felt a bit pricey, they offered a good variety of dishes, making them a nice option for enjoying a leisurely meal at the resort. Overall, the staff's service was excellent, and it was a hotel where I could truly relax in a tropical atmosphere 😊.
