"The location is excellent, with Ipoh Parade just next door and directly connected to the hotel. It is also only a short Grab ride from popular attractions such as Concubine Lane. The Chinese restaurant on Level 1 is very good—spacious, comfortable, and not crowded. The prices are reasonable, and my family thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The breakfast spread offers a good variety of choices. Our package also included supper, featuring simple but comforting items such as red bean and black rice dessert soup, plain porridge, and warm soya milk—a nice way to end the night. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would gladly return."

"First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China."

"A new residency. Overall a cozy and clean stay with carpark provided. Check-in and check-out assisted by security guard. Need deposit before the key is shared and deposit is returned after check-out. No water dispenser. Kitchen utensils provided."

"First time staying at this hotel and I was so pleasantly surprised, they actually fulfilled my special request! 🥹 My partner and I had such a happy birthday staycation 🥳 The service was excellent, the room was clean and super comfortable and the location is great there’s a mall just right across the street, which made everything so convenient. The only small downside is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited, but it didn’t really affect our overall experience. Overall, I’d definitely give this stay a full score 💯 and would love to come back again!"

"The place is clean and overlooking the park. The space is just right for 8 of us. Easy check in. Thanks for allocating two parking spaces near the lift entrance. Will be great to have bathroom slippers. The bathroom floor is a little slippery for seniors like me. Please check the water heater, the hot water supply is not consistent."

"The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh."

"I had a wonderful one-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort. The hotel is very kids-friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They have a great kids club and a fun water park that kept the children entertained throughout the stay. The view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful—peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to rest and recharge. I was also impressed with the food at the hotel. The meals were delicious and offered a good variety, suitable for both adults and kids. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for a fun yet relaxing short vacation."

"I researched a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Most hotels are spread out around the Ipoh “downtown”. If you’re arriving on a bus from KL, the bus terminal Amanjaya is 9km away. 20 mins on the local bus will take you to Terminal Kidd and it’s a 15 mins walk to M Boutique. I wouldn’t suggest this option if you have a lot of suitcases as the walk is on the main roads with cars and truck zipping past. Location is surrounded by industrial and car dealerships, but once arrived you’re surprised! They live up to their name - Boutique! They have been in that location for 13 years. Staff are friendly and helpful! Room (single room with no windows) was clean and comfortable and provided the amenities after a long day on the bus. And the hotel - SMELLED nice. Like a high end hotel. It was a nice treat if you’re a solo traveler looking for comfort on a budget. I tried to extend an extra night, however Trip were only showing double and twin rooms - out of my budget for a solo traveler. Asking at reception if the single room was available, they checked and I paid directly to hotel for a 2nd night. Your loss Trip! Hotel amenities were great. Hot shower, WiFi and air conditioning working. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the old city. When I arrived around 4 PM, a lot of things are already closed and quiet. Walking around in the dark back to the hotel was a little uneasy, but you can easily just arrange a car to GRAB. Highly recommended!"
