O hotel era bom, e ambos os recepcionistas eram tão úteis e tinham um bom senso de humor.Eles sempre estavam prontos para ajudar. O pequeno-almoço também era fresco e muito bom.
Second visit to Lion Quays.
Excellent Hotel/ Spa
Beautiful area
Rooms are clean & the views are wonderful of the Langollen Canal.
We ate in the restaurant, had burger & fries, it was honestly the Best Burger ever !!
The Staff are very friendly & it was a lovely touch that they had remembered us from our previous visit, that means a lot & you feel a valued customer.
Would definitely recommend & will definitely return very soon.
This hotel was located just off the motorway, and fairly easy to find. Upon arrival/check in we were informed of our room number and given our key card, however no information was provided. ie (check out times, breakfast times, any of the bar/restaurant details, pool/fitness centre details. We had to go back and forth to reception through out to get the information we needed. Fortunately the staff were friendly and welcoming which made easy to approach them.
Room was nice, bit cramped even for a king privilege room. Not much space to walk, too many unnecessary chairs. Room and bathroom was clean. Mini fridge was nicely stocked up with water and soft drinks for free. TV in the room was a smart tv, allowed us to watch Netflix via screen mirroring which was excellent. Bed was comfortable with multiple pillow options. Sockets and USB charging points on both sides of the room, great for charging multiple devices. Full length mirror and cupboard space to hang up clothes. Nice gown and slippers presented neatly on the bed.
We did visit the pool facilities on multiple occasions during our stay. It was just a medium size. With a separate jacuzzi and steam room and sauna. Pool water was nice temperature, slightly warm which felt really nice. Lighting in the pool area was poor, quite dimly lit. Lockers in changing area needs a padlock, as we didn’t know we didn’t take out. Some chairs are available on the pool side which we were able to put out things.
Dining room was nicely laid out with ample space to move around. Breakfast had multiple options including vegetarian options available on request. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend it.
The room had alot including a fridge, iron, iron board, cooling fan, hair dryer. The spa had an ice room steam rooms saunas heated pool and a few other spa treats I've forgot lol really good stay the breakfast is a buffet continental plus English breakfast.
Had a great weekend here, staff very polite and friendly and helpful.
The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy, with ample supply of tea/coffee/sugars and milks.
The swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was clean and available to use by all residents.
Food was lovely and hot and tasty.
Would recommend here and will definitely be returning.
Where to begin with this one?
Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing).
Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture.
Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told ”nothing they can do” and ”it's trip's fault” that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER.
Awful customer service, facilities not available. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Specifically bad service via email: Lis Frost & Richard Bowen
A piscina era boa, o serviço era bom, o jantar para dois adultos e dois crianças era de cerca de 50 libras (duas aulas) e o alimento também era bom.

Overall wasnt a great stay, ill keep it short and sweet and list positives and negatives rather than go into detail
Positives - All staff friendly and helpful, nice location, if you can book a deluxe room so you get a first floor room with outside table and chairs and a view of the golf course. Treatment and spa faciltes were good though theres no jaqoozi. Comfy bed!
Negatives - Organisation, i had spa day and lunch, it wasnt explained about where lunch was or what was included i had to ask all the questions. I wasnt told the £15 limit for lunch so i went over and they then expected me to pay the difference but they agreed it was unfair. Room cleanliness, bathroom wasnt great, nail clippings on floor and 100’s of small hairs all around the bath after someones shave! Room was very warm and it wasnt even that hot outside, take a fan in hot weather! Food prices very high for what you get, nothing special! Took 30 mins to get my drink at dinner and 65 mins to get my burger and chips, apparantly staff were off sick and there was a new bar man who delayed drinks
I wouldnt go back for the price you have to pay and what you get

The environment is elegant and quiet, but it is a little far from the train station. Otherwise, I would choose to stay here next time I come to Telford. The overall feeling is not bad👍
We attended a wedding held at the hotel and stayed 2 nights. The rooms were fine although our son’s room was a little tired. Breakfast was good and good value as a hot and cold buffet. Our son’s room son was delighted with the spa and gym. The best thing about the hotel was the staff who were excellent, and always ready to help.
Unfortunately, I experienced mite bites on my first night at Kenthall. There was no compensation. I had to upgrade to the next level in the main hall, which was subject to a fee, to avoid the problem. Management didn't accommodate me, even though the mite bites were clearly visible on my back and arm. Unfortunately, I have to rate Kenthall's cleanliness poorly. In the new room in the main hall, I got an incredible room with a bathroom, iron, and an incredible view of the garden. The upgrade was worth it. What I didn't like was that the lamps in the walk-in closet were all dead, and no one replaced the batteries. There was also no air conditioning. I would come again. I would welcome the bed lice and mites in Kenthall more. By the way, I'm still waiting for the bill for the upgrade.

The hotel was good, and both the receptionist were so helpful and had a good sense of humour. They were always ready to help., The only downside was we missed on goring in the pool as the Ph levels were high on the day we wanted to use. The breakfast was fresh and very good too
The swimming pool was nice. The service was good. Dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids was around £50 (two courses) and the food was nice as well. If you are IHG member, you can check out at 12 noon.
