Regras Bagagem GOL
A partir de 14 de outubro de 2025, a GOL mudou as regras da bagagem de mão em voos internacionais. A novidade é a tarifa Basic, que não inclui mala de cabine – só um item pessoal para debaixo do assento.
Quem escolher essa tarifa mais barata para destinos como EUA, Caribe, México e alguns países da América do Sul (incluindo a rota Rio–Montevidéu) precisa pagar à parte pela bagagem de mão. Vale lembrar: nos voos domésticos nada mudou – as regras seguem as mesmas da ANAC.
Nova Tarifa Basic GOL: O Que Está Incluído
A tarifa Basic da GOL, disponível exclusivamente para voos internacionais, inclui apenas um item pessoal que deve ser armazenado sob o assento à frente do passageiro. As especificações são :

A GOL adota o sistema de dois volumes para bagagem de mão:
- Item pessoal (personal item) : deve ser acomodado sob o assento à frente
- Dimensões máximas: 32 cm (altura) × 43 cm (largura) × 22 cm (profundidade)
- Peso máximo: 10 kg
- Mala de cabine (small bag) : deve ser acomodada no compartimento superior
- Dimensões máximas: 55 cm (altura) × 35 cm (largura) × 25 cm (profundidade)
- Peso máximo: 12 kg
Fique atento: as medidas da mala de cabine incluem rodas, alças e bolsos. Desde outubro de 2025, a GOL está fiscalizando no portão de embarque — qualquer excesso vai para o despacho, com taxa extra.

Was thrilled to see the blue sky upon arrival.
Road was blocked with enhanced security because of Shakira - Todo Mundo No Rio.
The hotel staffs were very helpful and approached us immediately with the luggages and deposited at the storage area upon our arrival.
The staffs were well trained and organised with good services.
Excellent location to Copacabana Beach with towels and umbrella provided.
The room with a view with vibrant energy at Copacabana beach.
The weather was rainy and cloudy the following day but could still spot quite a number of people running on the street.

To be honest, the impression of the hotel is twofold. On the one hand, it is an exclusive hotel, on the other hand, there were so many people that I did not feel exclusivity. You can't push through the pool. For some reason, in order to get to the pool and the beautiful view, you need to ask the hostess (who, of course, ask with a menacing look if you have a reservation and that there are no places) and you stand behind a red rope that blocks your way. I was not very pleased with this. Perhaps this excludes a super big crush, but the effect itself that they are blocking my way for my money is not pleasant.
A very interesting mattress, more like a feather bed. Soft, comfortable. The room is very, very dark - I did not like this either.
It is very interesting that at breakfast nowhere is it offered (no picture/message, the waiters do not say) that you can order waffles, avocado toast, or something else. Why is this kept a secret? Why should I, upon accidentally seeing waffles on another table, ask: where can I find waffles?.. I don’t understand.DeTWD 11.916

I have stayed at this hotel before and was disappointed this time for two reasons: the pool and gym area are under construction and this was not mentioned in the reservation description; there was no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands!

A decent, budget-friendly hotel in a central location, making it easy to get around on foot. It's not in a particularly attractive area, but it's perfectly adequate for a short stay and an overnight stay.
Breakfast was good; I recommend going early, as it gets quite crowded after 10:30 and can be uncomfortable.
The staff was average and polite. There was no shampoo in the room.

The hotel is very close to the beach. The room is large. The bathroom water is big and hot. The service is very good. To see that you have luggage, the staff will run over to help you get it. The room has lovely views to the beach the staff are very pleasant.
I only had one problem with the nutritionist called Juliana that responded to an email I sent to her explaining about my son’s anaphylactic shock to dairy and unfortunately when we got their to the hotel it was her day off but she had no one ready to cater for my son first they offered him an apple and boiled egg and as soon as I spoke to the manager they made him pancakes scrambled eggs gave him biscuits.
It was a shame that Juliana did not do her job properly causing me and my partner stress on our first day at the hotel.
But next day they where ready for him and he also had a lovely breakfast just hope that Juliana learns how important it is to get ready for costumers that have severe allergies and treats them with more respected.
Apart from this incident everything else was spot on I also called their 24 hr service and order my son some pasta to take to our travel back home and everything was perfect.DeTWD 6.089

The hotel is located on the main street, a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. There's a currency exchange office nearby with a good rate, but it's closed on weekends and closes at 6:00 PM. Breakfasts are delicious, security is on hand, and it's very safe. We left documents and other savings in the safe, and nothing was lost. During holidays, the hotel tightens security and access control. There's a pool and a terrace with a bar with a stunning view. I booked JW Marriott Copacabana because, surprisingly, the price wasn’t much higher than nearby 3–4 star hotels. The location is truly premium, right on Copacabana Beach and the rooftop overlooks the entire beach, which is a huge plus.
My room faced the inside of the building, so I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time for privacy, which made the room quite dark. That said, the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Staff were generally nice, but everything felt quite slow check-in, check-out, room service requests, and even housekeeping. Breakfast was good in quality but exactly the same every day. Getting a table in the morning was also frustratingly slow; at one point around 10 people were waiting, and it took about 10 minutes just to be seated.
The rooftop views are amazing, but the design is honestly very awkward and outdated. The pool is at the back with almost no view, when it could easily have been a stunning infinity pool. The bar area felt cheap, and the thick glass panels and wide columns made it hard to enjoy the view or take good photos. The whole rooftop design felt very old-fashioned.
Overall, the hotel feels stuck in time. It’s a bit sad, because with such an incredible location, a modern renovation could easily make this one of the best hotels in the world. For the price I paid, I was still satisfied, but it definitely didn’t feel like a true luxury experience.DeTWD 12.135

Disappointed. I had already been to the hotel once before, but this time it was quite disappointing. Bad service at the pool, very inattentive staff, slow service. At the reception also another pity, very unprepared, lack of education and pride. There was a case where the hotel even apologized to our guests, and it was quite embarrassing. It is not worth the price it charges, nor does it reflect the Fasano brand that is stamped on the facade. The hotel's biggest advantage is its location; it's right next to Copacabana Beach, and the rooms offer direct views of the sand. It's incredibly convenient for strolling the beach and enjoying the sea views—just a short walk to the sand and waves. The rooms were clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk and concierge service were exceptionally attentive, proactively helping with luggage and pressing elevator buttons, providing excellent care throughout. The top floor offers a fantastic panoramic view of the beach, but unfortunately, it opened too late in the morning, so I missed capturing the sunrise, which was a slight disappointment.
However, the hotel's shortcomings are also quite noticeable. The facilities are generally outdated. The elevators are not only old but also have limited capacity, resulting in long waits during peak hours. The rooms only have simple sheets, without blankets, which can be a bit chilly at night. The most inconvenient aspect is the lack of essential toiletries; there are no slippers, toothbrushes, or a kettle, and even complimentary bottled water isn't provided—you have to bring your own or buy it. The breakfast was average, without many surprises, and the pool was rather small. However, the nearby expansive beach completely compensates for this, making swimming more enjoyable.

We paid a lot for the carnival, and what did we get in return?
Room service was a huge help. We could eat inexpensively at any time of day or night. The pizza was a bit raw, but during Carnival, it's as if the whole Rio stops cooking properly.
The room wasn't cleaned once in 4 days, but they checked the minibar.
We had to change the towels ourselves.
The room smelled very damp and had other strange odors. We had to buy a freshener.
The room itself was old and dirty, small.
There were a lot of security guards in the lobby, but there wasn't even a water cooler.
Check-in was slow.
The elevator was a disaster.
It was sometimes 2/3, sometimes 1/3, working, and the staff was always harassing those.
Pros:
The beach is 5 minutes away.
Beach towels provided.
Room service 24/7.
Everything. If you're not coming for the carnival and there are plenty of available hotels around, this isn't the place for you.
And...they even demand a $400 deposit without warning.

The Atlantic Ocean is right outside the window, and the rolling waves and the birds and airplanes flying overhead are a beautiful sight in themselves. I stayed at this hotel during Carnival. It was incredibly crowded, and checking in took forever. There was a lot of security. On the one hand, this is a plus, because the city isn't exactly the safest. On the other hand, security was constantly stopping me if I didn't see my hotel bracelet. The breakfast was one of the best (especially considering that South America doesn't have a good breakfast culture. It's usually a big bagel and fruit at other hotels). The main drawback: the elevators weren't working. There are probably 5 or 6 elevators in the hotel. Occasionally, only 2 elevators were working for the entire hotel! It was such a shame!
