I bought a promise (experience) and it was given a completely other. We are very unhappy with what happened ... At the time of check-in it was reported that the girlfriend's dinner had changed and that only CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU Not only we are disappointed as several couples. That was totally discriminatory in fact .... we could prosecute them by claiming that reason. The couples were all forced (including us) to dine inside the room ... was super boring and strange. This is completely out of the consumer's code, we are forced to buy a dinner at that value or you can't eat inside the restaurant. It was a pity. abs,

I rarely see reviews of hotels in Brazil. It's very expensive to book two nights separately. I booked the first night but couldn't book the second night, so I had to change hotels the next day! Fortunately, I changed hotels. I feel that the second one is more cost-effective! The Grand Hyatt is more than 1,600 without breakfast. Breakfast is about 140BRL per person after tax, which is 2,000 yuan per night, but the bed is very small. There was a bank meeting and people from the bank were everywhere. The experience was average. Like other hotels, foreign hotels rarely provide toothbrushes and toothbrushes. The breakfast is no different from the breakfast in hotels that cost hundreds of yuan. The breakfast at the Fairmont 4,000 yuan hotel in Rio is also very simple. When you come to Brazil, you must remember to bring a conversion plug. Even a hotel that costs 4,000+ does not have a conversion plug. I recommend the Porto Bay Hotel in São Paulo in the picture. It is on Paulista Street. It is so convenient. Turn right when you go out and you will see the mall. It takes five minutes to walk to the São Paulo Museum of Art. And their toiletries are L'Occitane Brazil, and there are conversion plugs! ! ! Breakfast included is only 1200+. Next time I come to Sao Paulo, I will definitely choose Porto Bay Hotel

The hotel is located in the city center, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. There are many homeless people around, so please be careful. The hotel staff is very welcoming. The front desk staff speaks English and patiently answers all your questions. The front desk staff also reminds you to be careful with your phone and avoid being robbed. The breakfast is on the third floor and is very generous.

I stayed at Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera Convention Plaza Hotel twice during my trip (April 3–8 and April 10–11), and overall, this was a very mixed experience. I’m an international traveller so I would say I have my fair share of seeing all sides to a hotel. To be a 4 star hotel and to charge premium rates, I would expect certain things. Let’s start with the positive to the hotel - The location is excellent. From the hotel across there is a shopping mall, which makes it extremely convenient for food, shopping, and daily necessities. • Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Aside from one incident, (on my first night, I found red stain marks which looks like lipstick on my sheets, took a photo and alerted receptionist the next morning for a change of sheets. • Room size is spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the “ superior room” and the junior suite. The issues (and they are significant): 1. Misleading room expectations The room I received looked noticeably older and more worn than the photos online. Doors, bathroom condition, and overall finishing did not match what was advertised. It felt misleading. This hotel definitely need a glow up. 2. Poor service & lack of flexibility Service was the biggest disappointment. • Staff were generally not proactive or solution-oriented. • I made a booking error via Trip.com and tried to adjust the dates. Both the platform and hotel refused to help or offer alternatives. • Even a simple late check-out request (which I informed them about in advance and was willing to pay for) was declined without much effort to accommodate. I wasn’t also asking for hours just a mere 2 hours so that I can go to the city to pick up some stuff before my long haul 32hours flight. 4. Billing inconsistencies – check your charges carefully • I was initially charged for 2 minibar items when I only consumed 1. I manage to catch this on time before paying for it. • Laundry count was incorrect (11 pieces sent, billed for 12). Receipts and explanations were unclear, and I’m still not fully confident everything was billed correctly. 5. Missing basic amenities (unexpected for this level) • No iron or ironing board available • No kettle / hot water in the room • No complimentary drinking water • Everything must be purchased separately 6. Language barrier for international guests Not all staff speak English, which can make communication difficult if you’re not Portuguese-speaking. Overall verdict: This hotel is convenient but not service-oriented. If you are Brazilian or familiar with local expectations, you may find it acceptable. But as an international traveler, the experience falls short—especially in service, transparency, and attention to detail. Would I return? Probably not, unless location is the only priority.

This hotel is located along the famous Paulista Avenue, a popular landmark. The rooms are clean, and it's super convenient for getting around, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Even though it's on a busy and bustling street, the soundproofing in my room was pretty good; it was quiet at night and didn't disturb my sleep. Just a heads-up: most hotels in Brazil don't provide disposable amenities like slippers or toiletries, so it's best to bring your own. This hotel did provide a toothbrush and toothpaste, which is a nice touch, but no slippers. Just something to keep in mind.

This was my second stay here and I plan to stay there again! The quality of the hotel is excellent and, even though it is not in a very quiet neighborhood, the fact that the hotel is set back ensures safety. You can drive in and out of the hotel safely and calmly. In addition, the hotel is brand new, extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast does not have as many options as larger hotels, but everything is served with great quality, always hot and tasty. There is always natural juices, a variety of fruits, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, sausage and a good variety of breads.

The hotel isn't too far from the airport; an Uber costs about 90 reais, which is quite convenient. I arrived at 10:30 AM and paid an early check-in fee. The elevator is tiny, and the restaurant is also quite small. The room itself isn't small, but the facilities are extremely outdated. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or slippers, only two small sachets of shampoo and some rather smelly soap. There are a few shops nearby, but if you have a decent budget, I really wouldn't recommend staying here. The last picture shows the waiting area for ride-sharing services at the airport, which might be helpful for anyone staying at the hotel upon arrival.

- They didn't keep to the check-in time, the rooms were only available from 3:30 p.m. onwards and I was late for the event I was going to because of this delay in getting into the room. - The hotel is in the central region of São Paulo, while I was at the reception a guy came in asking for money and the security guards didn't do anything. - Breakfast had very little variety, dry bread and almost no cake options, for example, in other words, if you're thinking about paying for breakfast separately it's not worth it, it's better to eat at a bakery in São Paulo, which is more worthwhile. - While I was taking a shower a maid came into my room saying that I had already checked out in the system, I was very embarrassed by the situation.

We had a long flight of over 30 hours from China to Brazil and arrived at the hotel around 9:30 AM (Brazil time). We understand that the hotel may not be able to accommodate an early check-in, but we asked for help in at least being allowed to use the gym's shower room or any available facility to freshen up, as we had a meeting scheduled at 11:00 AM with a client. Unfortunately, after discussing our request, the staff rejected it due to hotel policy. We are quite disappointed with the service and hope the hotel might consider more flexible options for customers who have long flights. This would contribute to a warmer welcome and make guests feel more appreciated.

My stay was marked by several positive aspects. The room was very comfortable and the service provided by the staff, who were always attentive, made all the difference. The bathroom and common areas stood out for their cleanliness and organization, while the breakfast was simply wonderful and the staff were extremely helpful. However, the only aspect that left something to be desired was the air conditioning, which took many hours to cool the room, which made it a little uncomfortable on hot days. Overall, I recommend the hotel for the excellent quality of the service and facilities, with the caveat that an improvement in the air conditioning system would make the experience even more pleasant.

The room in the photo looked great, but in person it was quite disappointing given the lack of good maintenance (for a hotel of this category, in one of the most important cities in Brazil). The room is well distributed, and the fact that it has a small sofa is very good, in addition to the complimentary water. However, the headboard of the bed with the lining peeling off leaves a disgusting and very bad appearance, the infiltration in the booth, stains on the shower floor, chipped bedside table and lack of cleaning (sticky glass marks that I had to clean). Very boring and in a certain way frustrating.

Having just arrived in São Paulo, a city in the Southern Hemisphere, I happily checked into my hotel after arriving from the airport. Suddenly, I realized my small carry-on bag, which I usually use to store my belongings, was missing. I'd even left my phone in it when I got out of the car. I was so panicked! Fortunately, I never ask for receipts, but as if by some miracle, I asked the driver for one. I quickly told the lovely receptionist about my bag and handed her the receipt. The receptionist appeared unhurried and leisurely called the taxi company. They told me which car was waiting and would contact the driver. Although over half an hour had passed since I got off the car, I was worried, but surprisingly, I didn't despair. Just two or three minutes later, the front desk phone rang. They told me the driver was on his way to the hotel with my bag, but because of the morning rush hour, there might be a delay. I was stunned. I had never expected the people of São Paulo to be so kind and efficient! I was both surprised and touched! My bag was in the back seat. I bought coffee ☕️ and some food at the popular cafe in the lobby, slowly admiring the beautiful hotel surroundings while patiently waiting for the driver to arrive. After about 20 minutes, the driver arrived at the hotel door, carrying my bag and smiling broadly. He kept thanking me and offered me the money as a token of his gratitude. He was very polite and refused to take it. Without further ado, I shoved it into his pocket. I read an article a long time ago that said Brazilians 🇧🇷 are all like-minded people! This personal experience has truly struck me as spot-on! The hotel front desk service was also excellent; they had a room for me before 11:00 AM. I'm truly grateful to Brazil 🇧🇷 and São Paulo! Thank you to the driver and the hotel front desk staff 👩💼 for making my trip to São Paulo a safe, enjoyable, and complete experience. 💕
