It is very convenient to move around Nha Trang as it is a small city. Though it is a pedestrian-friendly city, due to the blazing sun you might think of some alternatives. So here we are with some options;
Cyclo: It is a three-wheeled rickshaw with a seat attached in front of a bicycle generally found in the tourist spots like Nha Trang Beach carrying 1 or 2 passengers at its best. It is advisable to bargain with the cyclo drivers and can simply move on to the other if they don’t agree with you.
Motorcycle Taxi: It is a recommended way to enjoy the scenic beauty of Nha Trang as it is usually driven by locals and helmets are provided for safety purposes. They are quite cheaper and can be located easily; you just need to look out for a sign that reads “Xe Om”. The prices vary as per distance covered or road condition, we can expect between VND 10,000 to 15,000 per kilometer.
Taxi: You can expect English-speaking drivers in a taxi. As a traveler, you can book a taxi from Cam Ranh Airport for VND 290,000 which will directly take you to your destination.
Bus: In Nha Trang, bus services are known as open-tour buses. They are well-connected between all cities of Vietnam so you can easily book them. The charges will vary on the basis of distance and stoppages covered by you.
Along with these bicycles, motorcycles are also available and you can opt for them as per your convenience.
Tip: Though it is budget-friendly to opt for bicycles and motorcycles, we won’t recommend using it for long-distance trips as the roads are not good.
