Hotéis com breakfast em Valencian Community, Spain

The hotel is very nice. The location is a bit secluded, but still easily accessible. Being on a side street, it's definitely super quiet. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was great, a wide selection of everything. They also cater to allergies. The coffee, unfortunately, was from a machine and not very good. Our room (Deluxe) was large and good, but unfortunately located in the corner of the building. The view from the bed was directly into the neighboring room. Also, free water in the room would have been a nice touch. The gym was unfortunately very disappointing. For a hotel of this category and size, one would expect better quality and a wider selection of equipment. The pool area is very beautiful with its landscaping, a small paradise. In our opinion, they should clean up more often; empty glasses are standing and lying around everywhere. Despite everything, it's a very nice hotel. WE WOULD BOOK IT AGAIN.

I had a comfortable stay at the Ibis hotel before my flight home. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the necessities needed. The location is peaceful and ideal for getting to the airport for an early flight via the shuttle bus. The staff were friendly, but the only small drawback was that the dinner menu at the hotel was very limited to a few options.

The hotel is strategically located, just 100 meters from the bus and metro stops. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly, and the cleaning service is impeccable. In short, highly recommended. You can't go wrong!

We stayed at B&B Alicante Centro for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the main tourist area, which made it very convenient to explore the city without needing transportation. The room was clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus. However, the main downside was the very poor sound insulation. You could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, which affected the overall comfort. Additionally, our room was located next to the elevator, so there was constant noise from people coming and going. Despite these issues, the stay was decent thanks to the great location and cleanliness.

Pros: * The hotel has been recently renovated, which made our stay very pleasant. Everything was modern, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean. * We travelled to Valencia every day, and the nearby bus stop was very convenient. The journey takes around 40 minutes, making the hotel a good option for those who prefer to stay outside the city centre. * The Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout our stay. * Breakfast was good. Although the variety was somewhat limited, it had everything I needed: eggs, bread, fresh fruit, good coffee, and some pastries. Overall, I was very happy with it. Areas for Improvement: * The fridge in our room had a strong fishy smell and clearly needed a more thorough cleaning. * Breakfast items should be replenished proactively, without guests having to ask the staff whenever something runs out. * The air conditioning did not cool the room effectively. Since the weather was relatively cold during our stay, it was manageable, but I would be concerned about its performance during the summer months. * Although there is a window in the room, it cannot be opened. Having some access to fresh air would make the room more comfortable. * Staff training is probably the biggest area for improvement. Everyone was friendly and polite, but the team seemed inexperienced and would benefit from more comprehensive training in hotel operations, customer service, and day-to-day procedures. It sometimes felt like the hotel had hired staff without providing them with the necessary preparation to run things smoothly. Overall: We had a good stay, particularly considering the hotel’s recent renovation, cleanliness, breakfast, and convenient transport connections. With some improvements in staff training and attention to operational details, the experience could be significantly better.

My stay at Meliá Alicante was unfortunately very disappointing, despite the hotel’s excellent location. The setting is truly beautiful, right by the sea, and that is probably the only highlight of my experience. From the moment I arrived, the customer service fell far below expectations. I reached the hotel around 12:00 PM and was told I would be given a room with a living room and lounge area, but strangely, I was informed that I would not have the right to use that space. As a frequent traveler, I found this very unusual and confusing. I was then told that check-in would be at 4:00 PM and that I would receive a call once my room was ready. However, no one contacted me. Around 4:00 PM, I went to the reception myself and was given a different room instead. The situation became even more concerning when I reached the room and found the door already open. This was shocking and immediately made me feel unsafe. To make matters worse, the bathrobe provided was dirty. When I reported the issue to reception, it seemed they were already aware that the door was faulty, which is completely unacceptable from a safety perspective. I would like to highlight that Trip.com handled the situation professionally when I contacted them, and they intervened promptly. Their support was far more reassuring than anything provided by the hotel staff. What disappointed me the most was the complete lack of apology or accountability from the hotel. Even during check-out, there was no acknowledgment of the issues I had faced. Overall, I deeply regret choosing this hotel. What should have been a relaxing stay turned into an uncomfortable and unsafe experience. I would not recommend this hotel based on the level of service and attention to guest safety.

I rarely write reviews of holiday accommodations, but this time I simply couldn't resist sharing my experience. My wife and I traveled to Peñíscola to experience a total solar eclipse, perhaps the only one we will ever witness in our lifetime. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to what we thought would be an ideal observation point: the walls of the Templar castle in Peñíscola. However, the local authorities closed the site to visitors in anticipation of the influx of eclipse enthusiasts, and suddenly I found myself facing a serious problem: the eclipse would take place behind the mountains, below the horizon. And this is where the Owner of the wonderfully charming Hostal Dios Está Bien stepped in. I asked her for help, hoping for some useful local advice. What did I receive instead? An invitation to join her family in watching this extraordinary celestial event while sharing their family dinner! What began as a perfectly normal, albeit exceptionally warm, interaction with the hotel's staff evolved into something truly special. There was a bottle of surprisingly good wine waiting for us upon arrival, friendly conversations every time we met, and, in the end, family stories and photographs shared around the table. Never before have we experienced such openness and kindness, and I truly feel that we have gained new friends. Thank you. We sincerely hope that one day we will have the opportunity to return your extraordinary hospitality. And all of this took place in a small, charming, beautifully maintained hotel, housed in a historic building in the heart of Peñíscola, where delicious homemade breakfasts are served every morning. I wish everyone could have an experience like this.

I love the location and everything I saw there was good. I really enjoyed the good view and the staff are friendly. We will love to come again by December. May God Almighty Bless Port Alicante City Hotel and Beach

Hotel was clean. Rooms were good. Parking was handy and free. 20-30 mins walk from he all main places. Hotel keeps security deposit in form of credit card too. Which was not normal . No other hotel kept the deposit.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. The hotel itself is nice, the location is very convenient, and the staff did make an effort to help when I raised issues. The check-in experience was disappointing. I arrived around 11:00 and was told that even if the room was already ready, I would still have to pay extra for early check-in. Later, when I returned at the regular check-in time, I still had to wait around an hour because I had requested a room on a higher floor. The first room I was given faced a constant source of noise, so I asked to change rooms. The replacement room was smaller, but much nicer overall. My biggest issue was the sound insulation. The hotel advertises soundproof windows, but that was not my experience at all. I could hear a lot of outside noise, and the sound insulation between rooms was also poor. I could clearly hear the guests in the adjoining room talking loudly and making repeated banging noises. The hotel did try to help when I contacted them, including speaking with the neighboring guests and offering another room, which I appreciated. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Towels were not replaced, and there were visible marks on the floor. The hairdryer was also extremely outdated and impractical to use. Overall, I liked the hotel itself and especially the location, and I appreciate that the staff tried to help. But the check-in experience, housekeeping, outdated room amenities, and especially the poor sound insulation affected the stay quite a lot.
