The location of the homestay is very close to the Wanfenglin Scenic Area. It is very convenient to go to the scenic area, Yaotian, and Xiashi. It is not along the road. It is very quiet. It is very quiet during the day and uses all its strength to play. It sleeps quietly at night. The homestay has a large yard, and the sun teasing cats and fat people (Akita big dog) will relax, and the time feels slower. The boss also made breakfast for us personally. Fruits and vegetables are particularly fresh ingredients. I recommend everyone to try rice noodles and freshly picked strawberries. You can also go to the strawberry garden outside the hotel to pick and eat! This trip basically did not do a strategy, the main one is to do what you want, every day before going out, the boss will recommend delicious and fun according to our preferences, liberate the brain and liberate the hands, it is a lazy gospel. I also ran to visit the luxurious 201 room with a bathtub and a balcony with a view! This time I booked late and didn't grab it. I must enjoy the next 201 next time! !

John Charles ChasteenThe Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh,and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

Guest UserOur trip to the Miao village was very smooth, and the B&B experience exceeded our expectations. The owner was incredibly welcoming, contacting us beforehand and sending someone to meet us, help with our luggage, and guide us from the village entrance to the B&B. Since the B&B is located on the hillside with a great view, the owner also advised us not to bring too much luggage, so we just carried backpacks. Due to the rain, the stone steps were a bit slippery, but luckily the B&B's location is excellent, only a 5-minute walk to Bridge No. 5, which was very convenient. The owner even thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea and sweet soup for us!
Our room had a terrace with a panoramic view of the entire Miao village, overlooking it all was truly delightful and enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience, and if I visit again, I'll definitely stay here! 😁😁

Guest UserThis was my second stay, but overall, it wasn't as good as the first time. When I checked in, the front desk told me that the king-size room I originally booked was full and they'd upgraded me to a round bed room. I figured there wouldn't be much difference, so I agreed. However, when I got to the room and tried to use the key card, it wouldn't open. I called the front desk, and they said the card probably hadn't been activated properly. I had to wait a few minutes outside the door, which was quite inconvenient. Also, in the round bed room, the power outlets near the headboard were too far away, making it really hard to charge my devices 😓. These issues were somewhat acceptable, but then around 9 AM the next morning, the landline in the room rang unexpectedly. I'm not sure if it was the front desk or someone else, but it really disrupted my sleep. The soundproofing wasn't great either; I kept hearing loud noises from the hallway. Next time I'm in Tongren, I'll definitely have to reconsider staying at this hotel.

Guest UserThe front desk staff were super welcoming and efficient. My room was spotless, well-lit, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. All the amenities were top-notch, especially the bathroom products, and the breakfast spread had a great variety. Even though it's in Guiyang's old town, the location is incredibly convenient for getting around; just wave your hand in the lobby and a taxi will be there. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip. Oh, and the little animals in the 5th-floor Western restaurant are adorable and perfect for photos!

We arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town.
The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind.
When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.)
Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town.
We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch.
The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special.
On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget.
We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

Guest UserThis is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available.

LexielilyThis was not an ordinary hotel stay. It became something I will remember for the rest of my life.
I arrived at the airport after unexpectedly injuring my ankle earlier that day and had no idea how serious it was or what to do next. I booked this hotel last minute, and from the moment I contacted them, everything changed. The team immediately arranged a car to pick me up from the airport, and I was met with such kindness, care, and professionalism that I felt safe right away.
When I arrived, they provided a wheelchair for me and allowed me to keep it overnight. They thoughtfully placed me in a more accessible room, helped with my luggage, and continuously checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. This all happened late at night, yet the level of attention and warmth never wavered.
What truly stood out was how every single staff member treated me. Each time I spoke with someone, they sincerely said to call if I needed anything, and they meant it. It felt like the entire team knew about my situation and was looking out for me. As a first-time traveler in China and an English speaker, I was honestly quite scared, but they went out of their way to make sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed.
At one point, multiple staff members even came up to my room to check on me in person and ask if I needed anything. They made sure I ate and brought me a warm meal, and I can genuinely say those were the most comforting, soul-filling noodles I had during my trip.
In the morning, they kindly offered me a late checkout until 2 p.m., again reminding me to reach out for anything at all. When it was time to leave, they made the process completely seamless. A member of the reception team personally escorted me by golf cart to the airport, helped communicate with airport staff, and ensured I received a wheelchair for my onward journey. I did not have to think or worry about a single step.
This level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. It reflects a truly exceptional team. Every person I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone working that day for taking such incredible care of me. You turned what could have been a very stressful and frightening experience into something warm, safe, and deeply human. This is a world-class team and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
I am so grateful and will absolutely stay with this hotel again. Thank you for everything.

What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.
The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles.
The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel.
I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.
There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’.
I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back.
The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people .
The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.
In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Anonymous UserThe right way to open it is to come to Wujiangzhai and stay in the scenic spot. Mushan Hotel is at the highest point of the village. You need to take a car to go to the core scenic area. We booked Building 2. In the early morning, when we opened the window on the balcony, we were surrounded by green trees and the chirping of birds. The hotel service is very good. You can get free tickets, free shuttle bus, and free parking fees. The staff also helps to check in your luggage. Special thanks to the front desk of the hotel. Because the family brought a lot of things with them on a family trip, a bag of the child's things fell in the lobby. It was only when I went to bed at night that I remembered that there was a tablet in it. I hurriedly went to the lobby to look for it. I didn't expect to find it, but I didn't expect it. The staff has picked it up and placed it at the front desk. Just for this reason, this scenic spot is worth visiting again.
