It's a beautiful resort. Not the most easily accessible but they provide free shuttle bus from Inawashiro train station, at certain timing.
The front desk staffs are helpful and friendly. And the hotel proximity is all clean.
Down side is that my room was located further end of the corridor (due to the long stretch design of the resort), I have to walk very far from the lift to reach my room. And the room's air-conditioner doesn't seem to work very well, which is very hot during summer. I was told it's centralized and can't be changed. Facilities in the room/resort also seem to be quite old.
But otherwise great environment
Located pretty close to the Aizuwakamatsu JR train station, which is one of the attraction. Overall the hotel/room seems to be slightly old but clean. The room is comfortable and I had good 2 night sleep! Would be great if there's a water cooler/water dispenser (for hot summer days!)
the staff at reception and dining place are very professional and caring. The room facilities are very new and the onsen is brilliant. Would love to stay here again, a perfect stay.
The view outside the window from room was beautiful autumn leaves and the waterfalls❤️and the Japanese Sake that you need to choice from the machine was pretty cool ❤️
I was a bit worried after seeing some of the older reviews, but apparently, the operating company changed in May this year. My impression after staying there was that it felt like a relaxed, ordinary business hotel where you could have some privacy, especially when compared to the newer hotels in Futaba. Regarding my concerns about cleanliness and odors, I had no complaints; the hotel was generally clean. As for sightseeing, there are quite a few spots in Namie that you can't cover in a single day, like the coast near Ukedo Elementary School, which still shows scars from the earthquake, or the samurai residences on the mountain side. So, as a base camp for my trip, it was quite convenient. It seems they're opening a music bar in the restaurant, as I could hear music from the speakers.
It may be unavoidable for the price, but I feel that dinner was a little small.

Amazing
Iimagine62We're coming back for the second year in a row!
Our rooms were spacious and panoramic, with a beautiful view from the window. The room had everything we needed.
I really liked the private bath; it was comfortable and beautiful.
The public bath wasn't particularly impressive, perhaps due to the recent renovations. I can't say anything bad, but my expectations were a little higher.
The biggest plus is the staff. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness; it's thanks to you that we keep coming back.
The food was also great; the standard dinner menu has changed slightly since last year. There's a wide selection of drinks.
MMia in TaiwanAlthough the facilities are a bit retro, everything is very well maintained. It's really fitting to stay in a historic house like this when visiting a hot spring town. The hot springs were also very comfortable. I hope to have the chance to go again.
GGuest UserThey offer a free shuttle service to Inawashiro Station, which is a great plus. Everything at the hotel was excellent; both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they seem to be well-maintained. The only downside was that the water temperature in the indoor public bath was too low, and my skin felt itchy after using it.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is not very close to Aizuwakamatsu Station, but it is walkable, but it is not recommended. Along with dragging a large piece of luggage because the road to the hotel is very rough. The staff must be good. There is also a luggage storage service. The hotel is quite old, narrow, small, and musty. There is no daily cleaning service. But it will clear the room. There are amenities that can be picked up at the receptionist's counter.4/10
UUp-PhooRoom: The room was spacious and clean. I especially appreciated the heated floors!
Parking: There are two parking options: one on-site and another at Aizubukeyashiki, with a convenient shuttle bus provided for the latter.
Food: The food was excellent, with a great variety of local dishes to sample.
View: Our room overlooked a graveyard, so there wasn't much of a scenic view.
Onsen: The view of the night sky from the onsen was absolutely stunning.
HHechulaiThe room is very wide, the furniture and decoration are good, one berth and two food are rich and delicious. We stayed in three berths and the styles are different every day. The staff was very polite and the service was thoughtful. Overall, the experience of staying at this hotel is very good and worth recommending.
VValKTFukinoyu is a traditional ryokan. They even wrote your name at the entrance and were waiting to welcome you by the entrance. The onsen was amazing! Left my skin soft and supple. The staff were so passionate about their job. Everyone was friendly and accommodating even though they don't speak English. I had a great time and would come back again! The warm hospitality and onsen is the highlight of the stay.
GGuest UserThis was definitely one of my best experiences in a hotel. Really really helpful and friendly staff! You have enough space in your room, new towels everyday and an onsen to perfectly relax in the evening. You can also sim race or hang out in the lobby with different activities to do. I can only recommend this place and will always stay here if I come to Ebisu Circuit again.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, with impeccable service.
Spacious room with bathroom and separate toilets.
The dinner and breakfast served in a private room were absolutely amazing, with every dish and ingredient of very high quality.
Large onsen with all facilities.
This stay was a wonderful experience.
Highly recommended hotel.
AAlly2023Service is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. He can speak a bit of English. Room is huge and clean with a private toilet and a kitchen area with a microwave. Surrounding area is very quiet and scenary is very beautiful. Got free parking. Onsen is fantastic too. We can use the onsen one more time even though we have checked out at 10am. Got free coffee. Overall, recommended if you visit Tsuchiyu, Fukushima.
