Stylish hotel, nice designed room, very friendly staff, good english skill at reception and at restaurant. Restaurant mainly serve western inspired dishes in good quality, little higher priced but ok for the environment of the hotel. Japanese style breakfast, semi-buffet, not too much choice but enough to stadt the day. To Sakake its a 20 min walk, to train station its a 10 min walk. Nearby loads of eateries offering good choice of local favorites. Overall, a save recommendation.

I have stayed here many times in the past, and every time I stay it seems like they have made more improvements. 2 years ago you had to ask for water, but it was available if requested, then last year water was on a small display with coffee, tea, and makeup removal kit, now they have added refrigerator with cold water bottles and a display with room temperature water bottles. This may seem small, but everything else is already very nice here, and they are still finding small ways to continue improvement. Staff is always friendly. Hotel is always clean. Hotel lobby has seasonal decorations which are very nice, and are related to Toyohashi area.

This hotel is conveniently located on the 15th floor of Nagoya Station Gate Tower Mall. Floors 9-10 house Bic Camera, and Uniqlo and GU are on the 11th floor, making shopping incredibly easy. There's also a popular restaurant on the same floor that often hosts lively events. You'll even find a pharmacy and convenience store on the same level.

O Meitetsu Grand Hotel tem uma localização elegante e central, bem ao lado da Estação de Nagoya. Eles ofereceram um quarto para fumantes com uma vista deslumbrante no 14º andar. O quarto oferece ótimas comodidades, incluindo cafeteira, geladeira com refrigerador e acessórios de banheiro saudáveis. Há máquina de gelo, água mineral filtrada e serviço de lavanderia de 500 ienes no mesmo andar. No geral, ficamos extremamente satisfeitos com a nossa estadia. No entanto, o café da manhã teve um custo adicional, com uma enorme seleção de pratos quentes e frios no buffet. Adorei esta estadia e recomendo totalmente a futuros viajantes.

Everything is good but the design of bathroom is not very suitable for me. There is no place to hang towel in bathroom and is all open area. More suit for couple instead of family. No hidden place for changing area as well.

Location is out of the way, but the service, room, and staff are all exceptional. Very spacious. There's a dining area right when you walk in that has events like live music, but make sure to reserve ahead of time (I didn't and I'm kicking myself for that).

Conveniently located at Fushimi station, short walk away from Nagoya Intercity where the exit with elevator is located. Great for family with many large luggage. Limousine bus from airport is located right at the doorstep. Large family room with 4 beds (1+ meter). Kids love the lounge at Level 6 where they can have complimentary snacks and nice beverages. Nice Christmas decorations and vibe during the stay. Multiple convenience stores are located just 1-2 minutes walk away from the hotel.

Pros: 1. Good location 2. Comfy bed for rooms with 2 beds (twin *2 set up) Cons: 1. Slow insufficient elevators to tansit from lobby at 24F to 7F or 1F (to get out of the building) 2. AC vent blows right in your face (pic 1) 3. Do not book their kind bed room as it is not an actual King bed. It is very misleading to sell king bed room when it's actually 2 beds pieced together with a thin mattress cover. (And the mattress cover is made to hide the twin bed from direct view) 4. Like others said, the sides are too small to quickly get out of the bed. Have to shuffle to the bottom of the bed to get out. Fell asleep in the middle of the bed, felt weird but was too tired and passed out. Woke up with sore back from the bed and sore drybthroat from the AC blasting in my face all night. Took a look and it seemed like a king bed (pic 2), but it felt weird so checked again and found that its not a real king bed, but 2 bed pieced together with mattress topper wrap to appear like a king bed. I felt cheated that I was sold a room with king bed but it was not a real king bed. I expected better attitude from a 4 star hotel especially it is a newer hotel and in Japan. This action is a violation of Meiyo (honor) and Shokunin (craftsman) ethics. Pic 4 & 5 & 6 helps explains it from a third party view (I wanted to make sure what I felt was not biased or due to personal preference, so I double checked with google AI for ”third person” perspective) In summary: Selling two bed pieced together as a King isn't just a ”hack”—it's a betrayal of the Wa (harmony) between the maker and the user.

O hotel fica a cerca de 15 minutos a pé da Estação Higashi-Okazaki. De resto, tudo é ótimo. O café da manhã oferece uma variedade muito maior de opções do que outros hotéis e é muito bom. É possível avistar o Castelo de Okazaki do grande banho público!
