Great to have an apartment experience at lower than hotel prices. It doesn't get cleaned every day, but not a problem if you are used to tidying up after yourself. Location is in the heart of the city - shopping, conference centre, restos and bars are all within walking distance. I would def choose again.

Stayed with our family of four, inc two young ones (6, 2). Unit was newly furnished and well laid out, providing clear separation between beds in a loft-style format. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare basic meals. Largely self service but there is a front desk service during normal business hours M-Sat. Great location on Kaizerstraat with a 3min walk to the beach. Everything you need is nearby - Albert Heijn supermarket, tram/bus, and lots of shops/restaurants. Few local family friendly standouts: Stormerij laundry service, Arawann Thai, Chiva coffee, Studio, Hart Beach restaurant, Patagonia Beach restaurant, Sealife aquarium and Stadsborderij ‘t Waaygat petting zoo / playground.

Location 5/5 - right next to Centraal train station with shops, supermarket, and food. Front desk 4/5 Polite and efficient. Thank you, Irish Ms.Shauna. Room 4/5. Great views. This is our second time staying here. When in Rotterdam we shall return again. Housekeeping 0/5 Worst Housekeeping I have encountered in both staying and running hotels (now retired). The after-hours staff make up for the poor performance of the day crews. Checked in and got a soiled bathroom with number one and number two in the toilet bowl and sticky floors. Couldn't get a housekeeper to come and clean as they had left for the day. The housekeeping supervisor and manager hadn't done the necessary quality control. The next day the Do Not Disturb sign was dismissed and I received a phone call informing me that the housekeepers had left at 2.30 pm for the and they claimed that they had cleaned the room. I Cleaned the sticky floor and the toilet bowl myself. Agreed with the front desk for cleaning the room for 9.30 a.m. the next day. Of course, the housekeeper was a no-show. Turns out the housekeeping staff arrive when they want. There's a normal Albert Hjein 5 minutes by foot.(not the expensive ”to go” type) More shops and eateries inside the train station. Watch out for pickpockets. Most are women and operate despite the presence of Police. The Police are inside the train station whereas the pickpockets are outside the train station. :) Unlimited free coffee at the lobby 24/7 - 5/5

In de loop van de jaren enkele keren gaan dineren. Kwaliteit is zeer hoog (daardoor ook 1 Michelin ster). Spijtig genoeg is er weinig aanbod in niet alcoholische aperitieven en dranken. Als alcoholvrije aperitief kregen wij van de ober 2 mogelijkheden. Het eerste was iets gefermenteerd (dacht ik of niet goed begrepen) en het t****e was een flesje Crodino waarvoor 11 Euro gevraagd werd. (kostprijs 1,5 EUR)... Ik spreek een aardig mondje frans maar al die specifieke ingrediënten, dat is een woordenschat die té moeilijk is. Op voorhand had ik de menu al bekeken en hetgeen onduidelijk was opgezocht. Maar bij de gerechten wordt regelmatig nog een bijgerecht geserveerd (heel mooi en lekker) maar de ingrediënten die de ober hiervoor afratelde, daar hebben mijn man en ik gewoonweg weinig of niets van verstaan. Misschien hadden we meer assertief moeten zijn en een Vlaamse kaart of toelichting vragen. De chef is bovendien een Vlaming.... Dat is spijtig en daar zou meer aandacht moeten voor zijn. Een groot deel van hun klanten zijn immers Vlamingen.

I stayed in a one-bedroom apar**ent on the first floor that looked out on the back of the hotel. The room was large, with an eating area, full kitchen (microwave/oven, stove top, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, dishes & glassware, flatware, cooking utensils and pans, and cleaning supplies and kitchen towels). The bathroom had a lovely shower and sink with a smart mirror, and there was a separate WC with sink. The bedroom was a bit odd, with a door on each side of the bed, with the head and foot of the bed touching walls, so that you had to go out into the living area to walk around the bed, but the bed was very comfortable. There was a work desk in the bedroom by the window, as well. Plenty of storage in an armoire. There were large windows in the bedroom and living area looking out on a car park with trees behind it, so not a terrible view. The location was fantastic, right by a tram stop, a 10-minute walk from where I was having business meetings, about a 15 minute walk to Den Haag Centraal train station, and a block or two from shopping and restaurants on Deneweg and Frederikstraat. My only complaint was that the walls are a bit thin and other guests were pretty loud during the wee hours of the morning, which made it hard to get back to sleep after waking from a bit of jet lag. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this Yays and would stay here again.

The space is large and the scenery is beautiful, but the blond waiter at the front desk is not friendly enough and very impatient. Inquiries about the train station were ignorant, but the other waiters were very good, and finally learned about swimming.
