"My stay this time truly exceeded my expectations; the entire process, from before check-in to check-out, was incredibly smooth. The host's communication was super prompt, responding quickly to check-in instructions or any questions, which made me feel very secure. The room looked exactly like the photos, very clean and tidy overall; walking in, I immediately felt comfortable. The decor was simple yet cozy, the space was spacious, and the lighting was excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully at night without any noise, allowing for a good rest. The bathroom was also spotless, with plenty of hot water, and all toiletries and basic amenities were well-prepared, truly making it feel like a home away from home. The in-room facilities had everything I needed. The air conditioning cooled very well, and the Wi-Fi speed was stable, perfect for watching videos or working. The kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, and other facilities all worked perfectly, which is very convenient for those needing a long stay or traveling with family. The location is also a huge plus. There are convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and malls nearby, making it easy to grab food or daily necessities. Transportation is also very convenient, whether driving or calling a ride, it’s quick and easy. What satisfied me most was the host's service attitude; they were genuinely warm and attentive. You could tell they put a lot of effort into managing this accommodation. I didn't encounter any issues during my entire stay, and if I needed help, the host was always there to assist immediately, making me feel very secure. Overall, this is a highly cost-effective accommodation, and I would highly recommend it whether you’re traveling as a couple, family, with friends, or on a business trip. Not only is the environment comfortable and the facilities excellent, but the service is also spot on, making the entire journey more enjoyable. If I come back next time, I will definitely choose this place again and recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you to the host for providing such a wonderful stay, and I wish them continued success! The most commendable point of this stay was how incredibly fast the host returned the deposit! They transferred it immediately after checking there were no issues, which is truly praiseworthy! Also, the host went above and beyond, providing a complete guide to fun places, delicious food, and beautiful sights in Kota Kinabalu, along with information on car rentals for self-driving tours! So convenient, and the host speaks excellent Mandarin! Absolutely no communication problems! "Very clean unit with complete amenities. Have a balcony with a nice sea view, and also city view from the living room. There is a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube (this is good for kids) 😅. Located in the middle of the city center, all tourist hotspot are within walking distance. Will definitely come back again for the next holiday. 👍👍👍and worth the price."

"Honest Review: The duo room is just nice for a family trip. There are both pros and cons. Cons: Mattress condition – The mattress needs to be replaced ASAP. It’s not firm, and you can feel the pocket springs. Air-conditioning issue – The AC in my room (702) was leaking and not cold while in use. We contacted the host, and the owner came the next day to fix it. While I appreciate the help, the cooling was still not satisfactory and clearly needs proper servicing. Parking problem – Parking is a major issue. Even if you try to park outside, there’s almost zero chance because most spots are reserved by restaurants or property owners. The only option is basement parking with hourly charges and no maximum cap. First 2 hours: RM2.50 Subsequent hours: RM1.50 per hour We paid nearly RM17.50 for about 11 hours. If your car doesn’t move, the charges continue until you leave. This is expensive and very inconvenient. 4. This 7th floor due rooms is facing main road building which look nice view, but very noises while during night you may hear the car road noise. Pros: Shower water pressure is great. The pantry is spacious and hygienic. Free access to Netflix on the TV. The host is helpful and willing to assist. Overall: I would rate this place 50/50. If you’re traveling to KK mainly for places like Imago Shopping Mall and not driving your own car, this place is acceptable. However, if you’re driving, I would not recommend staying here due to the parking issues and high cost. That’s all I want to share. Thank you."

"The weather was sunny during our short stay there. The kids enjoyed swimming at the pool. The rooftop seaview was superb. The homestay was studio type but it's fine for small family. Overall it was a relaxing stay at Home Deco homestay. The service also excellent. 👍"

Each room was well-maintained, with cozy beds and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The living area was bright and welcoming — a great spot for family/friends bonding after a day out. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare simple meals together. We also loved the balcony view, which added a nice touch of calm to our mornings. "The room is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern furniture. However, the pool is quite small and only opens at 9 AM. Guests also have to check out before 11 AM. The customer service could be improved as the staff were not very friendly, and guests are required to dispose of their own rubbish before checking out."

"The experience was ok, apartment was spacious and clean, but fittings and furniture is dated. Response from management was prompt, and service is good. Things to take note: 1. One of the two lifts in the main lobby cannot reach the floor of the stay. There is a tiresome workaround, send the lift to other floors and call the other lift. 2. There are constant noise from the floor above well past midnight, sound of dragging furnitures and what sounded like vermin above the ceiling. 3. There is a certain unpleasant smell in the common lobby and inside the unit the moment you open the door, but you’ll get used to it. Overall good value for the location, convenience and space."
