Somerset Zhuankou Wuhan hotel is a very nice place to stay with family. We stayed 2 nights in 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment is spacious, each room has a TV with 45 channels ( 5 or 6 in English). The furniture is modern and looks very new. there is a very good kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, water kettle, toaster, huge fridge, and reasonable cooking utensils. There is a washing machine and dryer and stand to dry up your clothes. Technically, this apartment can accommodate 7 people in some ways. Breakfast is nice, it has Chinese cuisine and also items for non-chinese or Asians like boiled eggs, rice, coffee, tea, milk, juices, yogurt, fruits, vegetables, bread, butter, jam, cookies, some hot plates. So breakfast is more than ok. It has a nice swimming pool and a small pool for kids. Suna is also there (opened only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 pm). there are kids playing ground, ping pong table, and a world-class gem. The location is not very far from Wanda plaza ( 12 RMB by didi- 3 km away) and also another Eaon mall that is a bit far. There is a grocery shop just beside the hotel where you can get very nice bakery stuff, anything you want fruits, vegs, drinks, meat, chicken and also they do have food court to eat on sot from a menu. This grocery shop has fantastic seafood and huge crab, lobster..etc you name it. The front desk is standard style so you will get answers if you ask questions. Although they are straight forward and locally trained they are kind or lack somerset and ascot hospitality that I got in different locations like Jakarta for example where they are very helpful, warm, hospitable and smile and pleasant all the time. Saying so doesn't mean that your stay will be by all means less enjoyable as you will get all your concerns answered. It is just you need to tell them and they will reply. Housekeeping and kitchen are very warm and nice ladies and they are down to earth, hospitable, and always ready to help just bring your google translate and there are no problems at all.

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel We used 3 bedroom apartment. For sure there is a strong reason for continuing to book at this hotel. I shared before in 2 separate posts the excellent location and facilities and above all the warm hospitality. This time I have to add that the breakfast has been improved and reasonable but there is still room for excellence. I would like to thank Miss Coco Zhang from the front desk for her excellent service and warm-hearted devotion to doing her work, You make our stay more pleasant indeed. We will be always stay at this hotel whenever we come to Wuhan.

I stayed during the National Day holiday. Before I went there, I read online reviews that some guests reported that the hotel facilities were old, dusty, and mosquito-infested. I hesitated at the time, but after checking in, I was no longer worried. The location is excellent: it is just above CapitaLand Plaza. There are various teas and coffees in the square such as Chayanyuese, Grandpa's Not Making Tea, etc. There is also an AEON supermarket, which is very convenient. The entrance to the subway station is right at the door, and there is also a bus stop where it is convenient to take a taxi. Hema can also deliver. We booked a total of 3 rooms, each with different room types. Room 1019 is slightly larger, with a separate laundry room and a clothes rack. The hotel is designed with two bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms, and the master bedroom has a separate bathroom. The other room is a hall sandwiched between two bedrooms, and the bathroom is in the two bedrooms. The complimentary steak meal also came with matching butter. On the second night of our stay, we were given two more portions. The hotel was so welcoming.

I stayed for eight nights and it was overall good. There is a Qiaokou subway station nearby and the apartment is in a large building. The loft area is quite large and very clean. I didn't expect that there is a disposable toilet seat! I bring it with me every time I go out. The bad thing is that the air conditioner on the first floor is very noisy and must be turned off when sleeping. It is also very cold on the first floor and the heating is not hot even if it is turned on all day long. This may be because the hot air rises, but the second floor is very warm. The beauty at the front desk is very nice, and the cleaning lady is also very meticulous in her work. There is a washing machine with dryer, which is always useful, and the refrigerator is also used. Overall it's very good, I will consider it if I have the opportunity in the future! This is a service apartment that is not far away from Wuhan Tianhe Airport. Just 5 stations away, takes less than 20 minutes by subway(Line 2). And then just 150m by foot. Very convenient. Good place to stay if you need to go to the airport the next day. Wifi worked perfectly, bedsheets were clean. All communication with the stuff was remotely- fast and easy(add the phone number in Wechat after booking confirmation).
