I recently had the pleasure of staying at 房东老于头公寓 (民族大道分店), and it was an exceptional experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone seeking a comfortable, cozy, and welcoming stay. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warm hospitality and attention to detail that the hosts had put into this place. First off, the location is superb. Situated on Minzu Avenue, this apartment is not only convenient but also offers easy access to many of the city’s main attractions and amenities. Whether you’re looking to explore local restaurants, hit up shopping districts, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, you’ll find it all within close proximity. The convenience alone made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free. Upon entering the apartment, I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hosts clearly take pride in ensuring the space is spotless and inviting. The decor is modern yet warm, with touches of local flair that give it a unique charm. The furniture is both stylish and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. My room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed, which ensured I had restful sleep every night. One of the highlights was the attention to detail in the amenities provided. From high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like bottled water, toiletries, and even some local snacks, it was evident that the hosts went out of their way to make guests feel at home. The kitchen area was well-stocked with basic utensils, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. This was a huge plus for me, as it offered a sense of flexibility and added comfort. The staff were another big highlight of my stay. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Communication was smooth, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even offering recommendations for local spots to visit and eat. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that truly elevated my stay. I genuinely felt like they cared about my experience, which is a rare find these days. The atmosphere in and around the property was also quite serene, despite its central location. Noise was never an issue, allowing for a peaceful and uninterrupted night’s sleep. Security is clearly a priority as well, with secure access points throughout the building, so I always felt safe and at ease during my stay. The location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

What can I say.... AMAZING!! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed both nights!! From when we first check in, the lady who checked us in, helped us with our suitcase and they are big one too! (note there is no elevator). To the lady that work at night and cook our yummy breakfast in the morning, thank you! We are both vegetarian, so she was always checking to make sure we can eat it. She was super friendly, talk to us and tell us what is nice to explore/play, and make sure we have enough food to eat! On the last day when we have to check out early as we have to catch the Li River Cruise, she make sure we have food to eat and that we can bring on the boat to eat as well. She was very thoughtful! The location is over the bridge about a 10 mins walk to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. I prefer here as it more quieter rather than on the main street. Furthermore, it not that far, with only a 10 mins walk along the river and you will reach most places. I also loved the decor in the hotel as well, it has everything you need. They provided free snack, and we did try some too!! Good to try local snacks which we did end up buying when we saw it lol. You could also go up to the roof top, which will provide a 360 view, especially the view looking out to the Li River on a nice fine day is so worth it! Lastly, my mum left some of her belonging in the hotel and forgot to pack when we check out. They courier this to our next hotel in Yangshou, which is very thoughtful of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here.

Room is just awesome.. nice beach view is there..i booked for 2 persons.. but our friends was also there..we stayed around 6 person...there is big 3 beds. Clean room.having wifi but TV remote was not working and tape of bath tub tape was also not working 😕

Positive: * Quick response with check-in information * The room on the 29th floor had a balcony with a beautiful view * Great location * Washing machine and ample drying space available * Good Wi-Fi Neutral: * It's a private accommodation: good for people who enjoy being among locals * Shared bathroom! Negative: * The door is made of hollow metal. This amplifies the noise from outside instead of dampening it. * The door locks should be oiled; they make an unnecessary amount of noise. Nobody likes being woken up by the neighbors.

Loved the place! We booked a room with no windows in tripp.com but looks like they upgraded us to a room with an amazing views to the hills! The room was huge as the toilet. Everything super confortable. The service was also amazing, the lady who received us was cleaning the rooms and she was really good at comunicating even dont speaking english. We rented a electric bike for 30 yuan a day. The bike was really good even with umbrella for that rainy and sunny climate. The only advice on it is you can not drive too much in the zone since now it is not allowed for touists to cross the river in the ferry so you will be tied to the 7 km surrounding the city but it worth it to do a night visit in the bike to all places without any tourist.

The place is quite difficult to find (if we spoke Chinese we could have called to ask, but we don't). The location might be OK for people doing business near by, but for tourism, the neighborhood is not interesting, it is quite far and not well connected (metro station is quite a walk). The service was OK (one young man at the reception was quite helpful). The apartment looks like the photos were taken many years ago. Things are not that new, nor practical, nor so clean. In general the place needs a deep clean. The bathroom had a strong sewer smell (they did offer to change the room one day later, hut in a time that was not convenient for us). The good thing is that the bed looked and smelled very clean and the room was quiet.

Very good, the hotel service is good, but also personally lead the way, the hotel room environment is very good, very warm and gentle, is the ideal hotel in my heart, floor-to-ceiling windows and places to gather with friends

In the off-season, it is highly recommended to book a 270° sea view room. The super wide view of the sea view brings a completely value-for-money enjoyment. Even the puppy is also in love with the scenery by the window. It is also very convenient to play on the beach downstairs. The surrounding seafood stalls taste very good. It is a vacation that exceeds expectations in all aspects.

The apartment is very well located and the price is good. Owners are nice, and even if they don't speak English we can talk through a translation app. Communication was also fluid through WeChat and the translation tool. The apartment it self was very clean when we arrived and the cleaning was done everything day. The only pain point, that are not directly linked to the room, is that the corridor is often dirty (but that's because of the neighbors I guess) and the elevator takes a long time to come. It's a pretty old building... But on the overall, it was quite nice so we extended our stay there! Thank you !
