It's a very good hotel. I really like it. The environment and hardware are very good. The location is superior, the scenery is beautiful, the service is considerate, the praise is great. I will stay next time

I don’t normally review, but feel like I should add information to those provided by others. We booked through booking dot com which allowed us to interact with management prior to arrival. They agreed an early check in of 12 pm. On arrival a quick call gave us the key code to access the lockbox to collect the key to our studio. This was number 4 located on the first floor. Our studio had a kitchen area with sink, oven, hob, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and plentiful crockery, cutlery and pans etc. Round the oven was a bit dusty and there were crumbs in the toaster. Otherwise it was spotless. We had huge windows with wooden blinds. In winter they were sufficient to keep out the light. Perhaps not so much in summer. We had a kitchen table, dressing table, double bed, huge wardrobe with iron and hairdryer. The bathroom was refurbished with an electric shower. Bedding was clean, the bed comfortable and pillows were new with spares in the wardrobe. There’s a bus stop right outside and bus number 6 runs regularly into the centre. We were three stops away from our destination, it may have been four Into the very centre. We paid £6 return. We visit at least once per term as our son is at Uni here. We will definitely stay here again as it’s great value for money, a great location but feels homely with the kitchen area. Plus. Free parking! Not to be sniffed at in Oxford.

Room was beautifully decorated. However, a few things were not working, clock was spoilt, no dishwashing liquid, parking was extremely difficult due to the limited space available to make a 3 point turn, and toilet was quite cramped with shower rail and shower being in an awkward position. Ceiling was also really a bit too low for it to accomodate a toilet. Otherwise a pleasant and decent stay.
