Forest Holiday Resort Hotel is in Qingyun Town and near many activities such as skiing, horse drawn sleighs and hot springs. The staff was also available to help with suggestions, tickets, and bookings during our stay which was a huge help considering that we don't speak much Chinese. While the room was also comfortable and clean, the main negatives were the central heating being too high in evenings and rooms not being cleaned during our stay. However, these were minor issues in a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Apartment-style hotel, the room is big and warm. As a southerner, I felt the hospitality of the people in the Northeast. The check-in aunties led me to the room. I was not cold even in short sleeves in the room. There are restaurants downstairs, so it is very convenient to eat. The hotel also provides a car to take me to skiing. Enjoyed this stay a lot! Place is in 20 min taxi drive from train station. Rooms are simple, but good price and very nice people. Laoban was driving me to skiing place(10min) every morning and picking up in the afternoon, you can book from them ski pass and get helmet with shades. I traveled alone, had my nice and quiet time. Would recommend this place to people.
